About me - and why I coach.

Badminton has taken me from a young beginner (around 10 years old) to the European Championships and around the world ! I have been lucky enough to compete, learn and grow alongside world class coaches and players - and now (and over the last 10 years) I am bringing that experience back home to help others do the same!
Being Welsh, we get unique opportunities that "bigger" nations don't get and I am here to support you with your journey through these unique opportunities.

By day I am a college lecturer, and by education I am a PhD student studying elite coaching and learning pathways. This has enabled me to understand different sides of coaching from culture, environment, evidence-based approaches and holistic athlete support.

Whether I'm coaching juniors, seniors, masters or performance athletes, the goal is always consistent - to help you play with clarity, purpose and belief.
