Regretfully, we have decided to postpone ride 143 from Rose Cottage, Simonsbath until another day.The weather is forecast is to be wet and windy, not ideal for a ride on the roads! A new date will be announced soon!

Good news! Hannah Holland has very kindly stepped up to help with this years Pass Wide and Slow ride in Simonsbath. Just in the nick of time as I was about to cancel the ride, but now it is full steam ahead! Planning is underway. The ride will include some off road riding with opportunities for a good canter or two if wanted. Refreshments will be provided, plenty of parking available. This is a great opportunity for the riding community to help inform drivers of the need for consideration towards more vulnerable road users. Please join us! This is my very last call to see if there is someone willing to take over ride 143, from Simonsbath on September the 14th. Road safety is a concern for all horse riders and we all need to help educate other road users. I cannot organise this years ride for various personal reasons. This is the only ride on Exmoor. Surely there is someone who could help out? A lot of the planning is done but I need someone to take over NOW.
Please give this some thought and get in touch if you are able to help? Unless I get some help really soon, I will be forced to cancel the ride. Fingers tightly crossed!

I really hope someone might be prepared to take the Simonsbath ride (No. 143) on this year as I am not able to run it. I am very happy to help out but cannot do more than that. Is anyone able to help? It would be a shame to cancel the ride. We are all well aware of how dangerous the roads have become for us riders. We need to step up and help educate motorists about keeping riders as well as themselves safe.

Is there anyone who might consider taking over the organising and running of this years ride out of Simonsbath? My horse is out of action for a while and I am struggling health wise too. I don't want to cancel it but would love someone else to run it this year. I would be happy to help out with the ride as much as I can. Please message if you are willing to help me out?
