39 weeks pregnant and fully embracing a slower pace ☀️

As coaches and as humans, we often celebrate pushing harder, doing more and staying consistent.

But fitness isn’t about going full throttle all year round.

There are seasons to push, seasons to maintain and seasons to slow down.

Right now, my body is doing something pretty incredible, and that means training, movement and recovery look very different to what they usually do.

Do I miss feeling strong, running comfortably and moving without bump related limitations? Absolutely.

Am I excited for the day I can get back to training in a way that feels good in my body again? Of course.

But this season isn’t about chasing PBs or pushing through.

It’s about listening, adapting and respecting what my body needs right now.

Because real health and fitness isn’t all or nothing.

It’s learning to work with your body through every season of life. 🤍

Today marked my final in person coaching session before maternity leave, and I just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all of my PT clients. 💜

To every single one of you who has trained with me throughout my pregnancy, thank you for your patience, support, encouragement, and understanding. You’ve all played a part in making this journey so special, and I truly appreciate it more than you know.

I’ve loved coaching each and every one of you, celebrating your wins, supporting you through challenges, and watching your confidence and strength grow. It’s been an absolute privilege.

I’m also incredibly grateful to those who have chosen to continue working with me through online coaching. This is one of the things I love most about this job our coaching relationship doesn’t have to end, it simply adapts. It means I can continue supporting you, keeping you accountable, and helping you work towards your goals while I work from home with my little one 🥰👶🏼🍼

For those I’ll be seeing again in person, I can’t wait to get back to coaching you when the time is right.

Your support honestly means the world to me, both as a coach and personally during such an important chapter of my life.

“I’m eating more… running faster… and seeing results.” 💜

I said I was going to share the supplements I’ll be taking while breastfeeding, so here they are 👇

Just 1.5kg.

That’s the difference between these two photos.

Not 5kg.
Not 10kg.
Just 1.5kg over 8 weeks.

Some people would look at that and think the results aren’t significant.

I disagree.

Because fat loss isn’t just about what the scale says.

Over these 8 weeks, the goal wasn’t to lose as much weight as possible.

The goal was to:
✔️ Lose body fat
✔️ Maintain muscle
✔️ Keep strength high
✔️ Create a stronger, more athletic physique

When you combine strength training, adequate protein, daily movement and a sensible calorie deficit, you give your body the best chance of holding onto the muscle you’ve worked hard to build.

The result?

Not just a smaller body.

A stronger shape, better definition, and improved body composition.

This is exactly why I encourage my clients to use progress photos alongside the scale.

Because sometimes the biggest transformations aren’t reflected by a huge drop in body weight.

1.5kg down.
A noticeably different physique.

💜 Fat loss is about changing your body composition, not just chasing a lower number on the scale.

38+1 weeks and still showing up 💪🏼🤰🏼

Today’s session looked a little different – some time on the cross trainer and plenty of seated machines, but lower body is still getting done regardless.

At 38 weeks, baby is roughly the size of a mini watermelon 🍉, so keeping my legs strong feels more important than ever when I’m carrying this little extra load around all day!

This week hasn’t exactly started the way I’d planned, and today was only session 1 of 4, but that’s okay. Life happens. We pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, refocus, and move forward.

I’m planning to keep training for as long as my body allows, while also making the most of these final days/weeks before I take a short break and our little one arrives.

Right now, movement isn’t about PBs, aesthetics, or performance. It’s about feeling good, staying strong, supporting my body through pregnancy, and appreciating what it can still do.

Every session is a win at this stage ❤️

Our first Neomamma Online outdoor session was a complete hit this morning 💜💛 we have another scheduled for tomorrow morning!! So nice to get outdoors and workout in the fresh air (I just relaxed and sat with the babies 😝)
