First game of the new season this weekend ⚽️

We welcome Sunderland Wearmouth tomorrow to the Acorn Centre in what should be a tight game to get going, both teams walked away with a victory each in last seasons fixtures and both will want to get the season going with a win! Should be a cracker!

Our pre season comes to an end this weekend.

We have had some tough games this pre season, but we will be better for it.

Testing ourselves against higher league opposition in Darlington DSRM, Redcar Newmarket, Middlesbrough Over 40s FC & Hartlepool Vets.

We turn our attention to South Hylton WMC this weekend, a team we will face this coming season, so it will be a good marker for what's to come.

Every single player kept going to that final whistle today, well done lads! We learn more about ourselves in these types of fixtures than at any other time.

⚽️ Next up for the boys in Pre-Season is another local fixture v Linthorpe Academicals Over 40's this coming Tuesday night at The Dormans club new

Linthorpe enjoyed their first season together last season and have been working hard this summer to recruit and train well ahead of there 2nd season together. A few familiar faces will meet this Tuesday night in which should be a good local game of football as both teams up the ante to be ready for the new season in 3 weeks time.

First pre season friendly completed yesterday, great weather for it!

Brilliant to get back out on the pitch and shake some rust off.

Some excellent minutes in the legs for everyone!

Thanks to Darlington DSRM for coming to play us.

Darlington come out on top in the end, but lots of good to take from the game, Steven Daniels bagging a well taken brace! Good sign for the season ahead 👌
