🥊 HELP US PROTECT THE NEXT GENERATION 🥊
We are seeing far too much tragedy, anti-social behaviour and gang violence in our communities.
As parents, guides and role models, we are seeing a generation of young people who are struggling and, all too often, being tempted towards risk, crime and worse.
It is our job to protect them.
We have to be more demanding about how our young people spend their time — even when we face resistance and pushback.
I don't buy into the idea that society is failing our young people because there is “nothing to do”.
THERE IS PLENTY ON OFFER.
We just need to encourage our youngsters to get involved.
Boxing has always carried a stigma in some circles, but there is no denying the huge benefits the sport can bring to young people and communities.
🥊 Boxing can help to:
• Reduce anti-social behaviour among those who take up the sport
• Reduce involvement in violence and crime
• Build confidence, discipline and resilience
• Teach responsibility and self-control
• Develop respect — both for themselves and for others
• Give young people structure, purpose and positive role models
Help our youngsters. Get them involved. Let's not lose the next generation.
There are so many boxing clubs and community organisations doing incredible work — often for nothing more than the love of the sport and the desire to make a difference.
Support the clubs that want to make a difference.
Give them the opportunity to guide, challenge and help shape your young people into confident, respectful and disciplined adults.
You are not alone.
Let's work together to protect our young people and give them something positive to belong to. 🥊

We had a great night last night at our annual presentation evening.
We’ve got too many boxers to name everyone’s achievements but special achievements went to.
Best School Girl - Pria Kaldani, Pria won the Nationals this year and had her England debut at the 4 nations where she beat Scotland and Ireland and went on to win gold. The world is Pria’s oyster and she will most certainly go as far as she chooses to go.
Best School Cadet - Nahria Kaldani: Nahria also won the National Championships this year. Being relatively new to the sport she is already showing great promise. The best in England and she also won best prospect out of around 600 European boxers at the Golden Girl tournament in Sweden.
Best Male Boxer went to Ethan Irish. Irish has stuck in after many set backs over the years. Never moaned or passed blame onto anyone else when decisions never went his way. Instead he put his shoulder to the wheel and worked harder. This mindset and work ethic seen him winning gold in the National Youth Championships this year and put him on the England pathway.
Best bout- this also had to go to Irish for his Final in the national youth Championships.
It was the best bout of the season by far, toe to toe from start to finish with around 7 counts given out between the two boxers ending with Irish winning by RSC.
Best performance- this had to go to William Tyers in the Tyers vs Ali 2 bout for the the u67 belt. William put on an unbelievable performance, and was just a pleasure to watch it’s a performance that everyone still talks about 6 months on.
Special achievement award - this went to Sonny Hollingsworth. Sonny has boxed for England more than some people have had hot dinners but last season he went to the Europeans in Hamburg and took silver in a close bout. Then he went to Thailand where he boxed in the Future Cup. He’s continually achieving more and more every season and is a great role model to the younger boxers.
Well done everyone who received awards and to every single boxer in the club. Everyone has grown and progressed this season and you should all be proud of how far you’ve come and what you’ve achieved.
Bring on the 26/27 season 🥊

Sad to see the things that are happening in the streets of Middlesbrough.
The councils should invest in all the boxing g clubs in Middlesbrough that are all doing great work with the kids in these communities & are trying there best for the kids. You look how some of these councils spend there money you would think that the boxing clubs on the estates would be top priority.
