This will be the most lovely ride round the heart of the fernie hunt country side.

There will be opportunities of a gallop, optional jumps for everyone. All while enjoying the scenery too

What a lovely site to be seen we finally have rain today 💪

We hope it continues raining like this, which will only mean one thing, no hard ground and we will have great grass coverage for our fun ride.

What you have all been waiting for our entries are now open for our fun ride on Sunday the 4th of October 2026

We will be doing the saddington/gumbley area, which is the heart of the fernie countryside.

We are so lucky to be able to do a ride round here again.

We are pleased to announce our next fun ride will be on:

Sunday the 4th of October 2026

We apologize it took us a while to sort out the next ride. As we wanted to make sure it wasn't clashing with any other fun rides. Plus we also wanted to try and get a day where the ground conditions will be much nicer, fingers crossed 🤞🤞

It was so great to see so many of you today. Just over 100 people enjoying a new route.
I loved seeing so many smiling faces at half way round the ride.

For anyone that wants a photo from the jump field to remember a lovely day. The lovely Rose Rodgers Photography was there.

We will be planning one again September/October so keep an eye out. Till then hope you all enjoy the rest of your summer of fun.

For all those asking about fences in our ride. Here is a pic of some in a fields, to show you wants in store.

Just under two days to go till we see our first fun riders go round, our new route.

Here is some important pieces of information for you all:

- Parking is a different what3words that is on horse events. It's just a slightly different field to last year.
What3words is
///fingertip.engulfing.trout

- please bring your own water to wash your horses etc to reduce contamination with the equine flu. The horses safety is a priority as well as everyone having a great time.

- please try to avoid letting your horses touch anyone else not from your etc.

- don't forget to bring your horses passport for a spot check on day. With up to date vaccination with over a 7 days waiting period from last jab.

Most importantly have fun and enjoy yourself. Anyone wanting a map message me, and I will get it out to you when I can thanks

With just a week to go till our fun ride. We can't wait to see you all.

It's due to be nice weather. The ground is always lovely in the fernie country side, as it mostly old turf with good grass coverage.

But if anyone in the 11:30 to 12 and then 12 to 12:30, would love to come a bit earlier incase it's warm on the day then that's absolutely fine. Just drop me a message, and I will sort this out for you.

We still have some space left as well, so why not book on, can be enjoyed by everyone right from your children all the way up to older adults, who just love happy hacking.

Don't forget to please make sure your horses is up to date with vaccines etc, due to this equine flue cases. Spot checks etc will happen so please bring their passport with you.

With just under 2 weeks to go till our fun ride. We can't wait to see everyone who is able to attend.

❌Very important information ❌
All horses coming must be vaccinated, due to the flu outbreak going round. So please no touching or sharing equipment and not letting horses get to close to each other.

So please please bring your horses passport with you, they must be within the 12 month to come, as there will be a check. But if you your horse has had a vaccine before our fun ride it must be 7 days old or older before coming.

We only asked this as the fun ride will be going through a part of someone's horse paddock.

Lastly there is a wooden bridge to cross on route and if it causes any problems on the day etc just let us now. And anyone wanting a short route, there is one available with some quiet roads to go down.
