MapActive - Autumn 2026: Dates for your diary.
The provisional dates for the next MapActive course are:
17th October, 7th and 28th November and 12th December.

Join our local orienteering event on Saturday 11th July. Courses for beginners and experienced orienteers alike. Starts after Parkrun with plenty of undulations!

Try orienteering at Gedling Country Park on 11th July.
This is a local event and has courses to suit beginners as well as experienced orienteers:
- Short Introductory: for families with young children - on good paths
- Short course: suitable for newcomer adults and families with older children
- Medium: for experienced orienteers - similar to Short Green at a colour coded event
- Long: for experienced orienteers - similar to Green.
Start your course between 11am and 1230pm.
Event prices are £6 per adult and £3 per junior. Family rates are available too.

A shout-out also for all the on-the-day volunteers. It was a great event.
