That brings a close to the Woodhouse Colts Reds 25/26 season.
It has been a pleasure watching the boys grow not only as players but as young men, too.

It has been a strange and stressful season but one I hope will make the team stronger for what is to come.
We have the foundations to build and create so many memories.

I would like to say good luck to the players that have left, I wish them all the best for the future.
Welcome to the new lads and coaches who have joined us for our journey.

Thank you to all that have chipped in with helping this side, it is appreciated.

We go into our summer break now and I hope you all have a great time.

Rest up, recharge and get ready to go again.

Well boys it was great to see lots of smiles, laughing and joking today. A great end to a challenging season, now let's take that performance today and build on it for next season. A team performance you can all be proud of!

Could have easily given you all MOTM today but we'll done Luca, Oscar and Harley for just edging it...
Luca, absolutely smashing it the past few weeks, them defenders just can't live with your pace when you get the service!

Oscar, delivered two great assists for Luca early on, put the work in when moved into the middle and so nearly got a goal at the end.

Harley, played with the confidence we've been asking for, taking on players, persistence got you your goal and of course adapting to whatever position you play.

Don't forget to all be thinking about a team building day that you'd like to do together and let us know?

Unlucky today boys, not sure why or what happened today but the only smile I got today was Luca at full time. 😊

It seemed very flat and there was a very little talking between you all. There's a difference between talking and moaning but I am hoping in time that it will come.

Cheers Jake for your shift out of position, as soon as Arthur learns how to stay on his bike he'll be back. 🚴‍♂️

We need to keep moving forwards and enjoy this journey.⚽️

As the final whistle blows on this season, we step back filled with pride and gratitude, knowing every challenge we faced brought us closer, and every success lit the path ahead. Today, Woodhouse Colts Red attended their presentation. I also want to give a deep thank you to everyone coaches, managers, helpers, parents, players, admin, and sponsors everyone has played a huge part in this team. It’s been an amazing year, full of ups and downs, but we came back fighting stronger.

And for the new season ahead, we have a new team name, new faces joining our club, and here’s to a fresh start. I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved together, and I can’t wait to see what next season brings. A special thank you to Coach Craig his passion is a ray of sunshine, a guiding light for all our kids, and he wants them to enjoy every step of this journey and make memories, because that’s what it’s all about. Unfortunately, boys, we weren't at it today. I am your biggest fan and biggest critic. Today was not where we all want to be.

We had too much negativity, some didn't look up for it today, lack of encouragement everywhere not enough team work.But the most frustrating thing is there was no smiles, no enjoyment and that showed in the overall performance.

I do hope this is a one-off but we still have to work as a team.

We need to dust off and go again in all aspects of the game.

Well done to Harley today, a clear MOTM. Played where ever he's put and gave everything today. Captains performance

Tonight, we experienced something truly rare. Four Woodhouse Colts teams had the incredible opportunity to play on the Mansfield Town pitch. In these small-sided games and training, they worked so hard, showing their skills, their technique, and really coming together as one. They respected each other, built an amazing team spirit, and had an absolutely fantastic time.This is just one step in the journey they're all on a journey where every match, every training, and every moment is shaping lifelong memories and a love for the game. We can’t wait to see where this takes them It was a night we won’t forget.

The things we've seen today we want to see more often. Players battling, shooting, looking up and picking a pass, talking, encouraging it was brilliant boys.💪

🏆MOTM could of gone to anyone today and there would have been no argument but OLIVER 🏆 just edged it for me. I badger him every week not to let the ball bounce and he stood his ground well today so well done Son. 👏

Well done today boys, it wasn't the result we deserved but I think after recent weeks we have definitely turned a corner. Today the best team lost and even their management said the same thing. ⚽️

But being positive we have a lot to be pleased about because today's performance was brilliant, we just need to take our chances but we'll get there if we stick together. ⚽️
