Great result for the Under 11 Golds today! Coming away with a 7-0 victory 💛

Hat tricks from Carter ⚽️⚽️⚽️ and Stanley ⚽️⚽️⚽️ with Harvey Parr getting the seventh ⚽️

Outstanding team effort, but shining just that little bit brighter were Marley and Jenson in defence. Both boys deserving of their POM awards 🏆

Today was our first winter league game, despite a really good performance, we just couldn’t take our chances today, unfortunately coming away with a 1-3 loss against a decent Ravenshead team.

Good goal from Denzel ⚽️ and Harlen was immense and deserved his MOM award, alongside Benji 🏆

Good effort today and given the other results today, this league is still there to take by the scruff of the neck. On to next week.

Meden Vale U10 Gold Colts had a great day at our clubs 5th annual presentation day!

Lots of fun and competition was had on our stall - Bin Balls ⚽️ We made £233.50 which will be very wisely spent on the team. We are always grateful for people supporting our team as we do rely on a lot of fundraising for certain equipment, tournaments and fun days out for the boys 💛

The boys all got an individual award to recognise all they have done for the team and then there were 5 special awards! These awards were as follows and were given to the following players….

- players player of the year - Harvey
- parents player of the year - Lucas
- managers player of the year - Harlen
- golden boot - Stan
- magic moment - Noah

Well done to each and every one of you 👏 We have a cracking team and this season has been our best so far. We are looking forward to next season when we move to 9v9! 💛

Everyone welcome to our football clubs fifth year celebration and presentation day tomorrow at Meden Vale FC, Elkesley Road, Meden Vale ❤️

Lots of stalls, food, bar, games!

Our team will be running the activity ‘Bin Balls’ Kick balls into the bins to score points!
The child and adult with the highest score will win a hamper.
There will also be a smaller second prize hamper for a child and a prize for the adult who comes second!

It will be a great day with team presentations along the way.

From 10am until 6pm. Come along and join us and support our team and club ❤️💛💚

Trainer of the week went to Connor this week 🏅

Connor is new the team, he trained with us for a while and has only just started playing games over the past couple of months. This was his first medal and he was very happy about it!

Our two goal scorers today - Stanley (2) and Denzel (1 and MOTM) ⚽️
Today we played at home and there were plenty of goals (3-3)
It was an important game today as we played the team we are drawn with at the top of the league!
We went ahead by two goals but the opposition got a couple back then went ahead by one goal! We were awarded a penalty which was taken by Stanley, who scored making it 3-3!
All the boys played so well today, what a lovely way to start off Mother’s Day 💐

We travelled away today to Castle Donington and came away with a 0-0 draw!

The team played really well and had a few chances but couldn’t get the ball in the back of the net. They battled on to the end though and didn’t concede any goals ⚽️

Next week is a very important game for the golds and if we win we have won the league again 🏆

Todays MOTM went to Carter who played in midfield (not his favourite position) but he put a real good shift in 💛

One minute silence for Poppy Atkinson before the game today 💕 So sad that Poppy lost her life this week doing the thing she loved most 😢 RIP Poppy

The Golds had a great game today with a 2-0 win 🏆 Goals came from Stanley and Harvey and MOTM went to Stanley who worked hard throughout the game today and supported his team mates throughout too 👏
