Each week Coach Winnie picks the Team Captain.

At U9s, we want the captaincy to help our boys learn about leadership, responsibility and what it means to be a great teammate. Being Captain of the Outlaws isn't about being the best player on the pitch, scoring the most goals or being the loudest voice.

A few words from Coach on this week's selection:

🟢⚪️ Oscar put in an outstanding performance, showing incredible bravery and confidence on the pitch. His pressing was exceptional, constantly putting the opposition under pressure. This performance is a direct reflection of how hard and well he's been training lately. His dedication and attitude are exactly why he was chosen to wear the captain's armband this week.🟡⚫️

🏹 ZIDAN #6 - MOTM

Each week Coach Winnie picks his MOTM. At this age, we want the award to reward development, effort, football intelligence and teamwork — not just individual statistics.

This week Zidan has won the title and below is a few words from Coach :

🟢⚪️ Zidan earned the Man of the Match award by consistently putting his teammates first and acting as a true shield at the back. Known to the squad as "The Beast," he never shies away from a strong tackle and always hits players hard. His dedication to protecting his fellow players makes him the ultimate defensive anchor. 🟡⚫️

FULL TIME | OUTLAWS 3–3 4G1

A tough game today against good opposition, but one where the boys were on top for large spells and will probably feel they deserved more from it. Another strong team performance, with plenty of quality, bravery and hard work all over the pitch.

🟢 Chaz – Fantastic saves and distribution. His decision-making and positioning when sweeping up behind the defence were excellent.

⚪️ Zidan ⭐ MOTM – An absolute brick wall. Strong in the tackle and always in the right place at the right time. A brilliant defensive performance.

🟡 Artyoms – Brave defending and really good decision-making going forward. All-action when needed, but straight back into position and organising again.

⚫️ Artie – Strong defensively with a great range of passing. Brilliant footwork to create the first goal.

🟢 Olaf ⚽⚽ – Brave and relentless with his pressing, causing problems throughout. Brilliant footwork and fully deserved his two goals.

⚪️ Leo ⚽ – Relentless pressing fr
om the front, constantly pinning the opposition back and forcing mistakes. Got the goal his performance deserved.

🟡 Oscar ©️ – A proper captain’s performance. Excellent decision-making and strong, physical defending — their striker barely got a sniff.

A 3–3 draw, but plenty to be proud of. The boys competed, played their football and showed again just how far they’re progressing as a team.

A massive congratulations to our teammate Leo, who has officially signed his YD8 with Lincoln City! 👏⚽

Leo has been a huge part of the Outlaws from the very beginning and we couldn’t be prouder to see his hard work, talent and love for the game being recognised.

We know he’ll give everything to this next opportunity, just as he does every time he pulls on an Outlaws shirt #23

🟢⚪️ Artie is the perfect choice for captain this week. Even though he’s often the smallest player on the pitch, he plays with the biggest heart and unmatched passion. He is consistently the first to engage in a tackle, diving into challenges without hesitation, and is always the first to uplift and praise his teammates. His attitude is infectious, as he brings a constant smile and positive energy to every session. Along with this spirit, we’ve also seen remarkable improvement in his technical ability lately, making this recognition well-deserved. 🟡⚫️
