Upper session less than 2 weeks out
combination of good sleep, good vibes and a couple meals in before the workout resulted in one of the most enjoyable and progressive sessions in a while
Not long to go and some numbers will be smashed with a bit more food and fatigue clears out
Till then we keep pushing

It’s almost a wrap on this season
9 days out
Legs are improving, still some water retention and inflammation from some a few things this week but with some low days, reduced cardio, steps and a bit of PeakMAX (excited to try this tbf) I’m sure it’ll drop away the same as last peak
The last tan is almost completely gone so it’s perfect timing to be heading into peak week for a top up on Saturday 😂 definitely got used to being that colour 🔥
Weights dropped since last show, enjoying the process and just life in general much more, generally focussing on bringing back that energy I used to bring into a room and just being a nicer person to be around now which has helped me mentally a lot
Improvements still to be made
Can’t stop won’t stop
Full steam
Such a boss session between shows deserved the recognition
Couple progressions across the workout which were taken, big focus to make sure I keep putting intensity into each working set as I could easily convince myself at this point to “go through the motions”
But that’s not what built the physique and it’s not what will preserve the physique this deep into prep/diet and help me show my best yet in a couple weeks
Volume is slightly lower just to manage fatigue on more demanding lifts but prioritising muscle groups that are going to be important from an aesthetic standpoint
Not long to go, very excited to see what it’s gonna look like come next weekend

You have to address the first problem with the same energy as you’d invest into the bigger goals.
If you can’t eat consistently the bulk is never going to go the way you want it too.
Either you can’t get the food in or you resort to filling macros with junk and get fat fast in the process.
I’m not going to send meal plans to people or clients without first asking questions to understand their life, their work, their current schedule and what foods they do and don’t like.
You have to plan around what is achievable, what is realistic and what you’re actually going to be able to stick too.
Otherwise the idea of starting your bulk and growing muscle will stay and idea because you know you can’t even eat consistently everyday yet let alone push calories higher.
Good coaching meets you where you’re at, finds solutions to the struggles you have and finds solutions to get you on the path to meeting your goals.
Without the clear path, without the certainty that comes from a set roadmap doubt creeps in, weekends off plan, meals missed, the inevitable “f**k it I’ll get back to it next week”
All of it leads to you going round and round in circles and never making meaningful progress towards your goal.
Drop me a message, I’m happy to have a chat about your current situation, what I’d advise and give some possible solutions and point you in the right direction to start working on your goal in the right way.
Peace ✌️
It sounds silly
It’s too simple to work
But it does
A dream written down with a date becomes a goal
A goal broken down into steps becomes a plan
A plan backed by action becomes reality
If you want to improve write it down, set it in stone, decide your steps and watch it become reality
It sounds silly
But it’s the best change I’ve made this year, it’s what I credit so much of my success to
I wrote down what I wanted, I wrote it down every week to keep the dream and vision fresh in my mind
It gave my purpose and helped me stay on track when things got difficult
Try it
Stick to it
Absolute game changer

No one talks about the moments before stage, the surreal moments after stepping off, the fact that at the time I couldn’t have told you who I was stood next to, where my girlfriend, coach or friends were in the audience, you can barely even make out the judges who are a few feet away
You’re thinking about breathing, balance, midsection, and all the little ques for each pose and what’s coming up next
And it’s over so fast, after months of graft and hardwork
Getting these pics today is mad looking back through it all
Noticing areas to improve, shots I looked sick in, the mad standard of the guys I stood next to
It only makes me more excited and more determined to improve for the next
One of the best experiences of my life so far
It all passed by in such a blur but I tried to breathe in, be present and live as much of it in the moment as possible
If you want a mad moment, an achievement that you will remember for the rest of your life
Step on stage

I’ll start Monday
I’ve just got this to do first
I don’t know if I’m ready
Waiting waiting waiting
It’s going to get you nowhere
Time will continue to pass
The things you’re unhappy about won’t disappear and life will always have something that comes up and tries to pull focus
It’s not about the perfect plan, the best routine, what’s most optimal or making huge changes from the beginning
It’s just going to lead to burnout and you falling back into the same bad habits and lifestyle that wasn’t moving you towards your goal
The journey of self improvement is a long one
You don’t need to drastically overhaul overnight
You need to aim to be better than you used to be
That in itself is a win and will continue to compound as the time goes on
If you don’t know where to start, struggle to stay accountable to your path or want to take things to the next level
Drop “PROGRESSION” in my DM’s and we can go through what’s the next best step for you and your current situation and where you want to go👊🏻
“Everyone dreams about retiring and sitting on a beach with a cocktail.. but how many days are you content to sit on a beach just drinking cocktails before you want to go out and do something else”
The amount of times I’ve lay in bed at night planning out my next day
Crazy amount of tasks, endless things to do
Ultimately an unrealistic expectation of what I’m able to achieve
I’d wake up the next day either dreading the day ahead or not getting through everything and being annoyed
This has lead at times to either an obsessive workload that has impacted friendships, my relationship, my work and my mental health
Or I’ve burnt out and it’s lead to me procrastinating on tasks that would actually benefit me, my life, my relationship or my business
And I’ve consoled myself with easy low energy tasks that ultimately keep me ticking over but don’t make any meaningful impact
I didn’t wake up one day doing a madness
I didn’t wake up one day and had everything just click
I didn’t wake up with everything I know and do now
It was built over time
Because I cared about improving myself and my life
So I stuck at it
Steadily improving
The saying goes “a man who loves the journey will walk further than the man who only enjoys the destination”

Yesterday before all the carbs went in
Couple days out so time to fill up
Bit surreal to be this close to something I’ve been talking about for a long time now
Let’s see what some carbs, tan and a shave with do
Years of my life I was unhappy
I knew I wanted something different, knew the path ahead wasn’t what I wanted
Tried so many different things
Drugs and partying - didn’t solve it
Worked abroad - didn’t solve it
Different industries - didn’t help it
Socialising more - didn’t help it
Staying in more - didn’t help it
It was only when I took a step back and looked at myself, things I valued, stuff I gave my time too
And took time to try and imagine what I did want my life to look like 30/40/50+ years old
It was only then I started to see what things were keeping me from achieving that, things that wasted my time
Most importantly it helped me see and recognise the s**t I was doing that was holding me back from achieving that dream/ picture I had in my mind
You have to identify the problems before you can work on solving them
Otherwise you’re just throwing s**t at a wall and hoping it sticks
