She is running with her partner, #1 fan and occasional Manchester Valkyries mirror bench, DemoliSean. They began the NHS Couch to 5k challenge earlier this year and are now entering their first 5k race.

Happy Birthday to our Snowball!
Snowball is an absolute force, skating across both Manchester Valkyries and Chaos Engine and bringing energy wherever she goes. A deserved winner of our Most Improved award this year, she’s been levelling up fast.
She’s a bundle of good vibes, fun and positivity, and her ability to pick up new strategies at speed makes her a real asset on track. Plus, when it comes to bridging, she’s truly in a league of her own. 👑

Our first Five Nations has been such an experience 💚

This has been another transformative year for the Bs. In 2025, we secured our own training times, coach and identity within the league. I'm 2026 we were confident enough to enter Five Nations! Due to our bizarre 'central' (💀) regional placement, we played our first game abroad in Ireland!! A wonderful little trip away with the team to play the excellent Swansea City Roller Derby where we all really bonded as a team. Fast forward to June, we played our final opponents Southland Sirens Roller Derby and City of Hull Roller Derby .

The B team had their first experience of a double gameday! The vibes were kept high - all players did fantastic work keeping their heads cool, managing energy and taking breaks as they needed. Management is so proud of how everyone played, conducted themselves and worked together on track. Feedback from other teams has been brilliant too and we're so keen to keep up a great reputation as a fun team that others WANT to play!

Unfortunately we did not take away a medal this season, ending 4th place. We are so thrilled with how close all the games were. Despite some very squeaky bum time and lead changes, the games ended consistently at -30 which gives us lots to work on for next year.

Huge thank you to our wonderful coach Trauma, to whom we owe EVERYTHING. We would not be where we are today without your sparkle. Thanks to the wider Manchester Valkyries A team for their ongoing support and enthusiasm. Thanks to the wider league including Chaos Engine and Zero to Hero - Manchester Roller Derby for their continued volunteering support at our games and support managing our crossover skaters. Our officials, bouts team and wider volunteers always - who literally allow our games to happen.

See you soon at our off season games - first one taking place in August somewhere in the Midlands 👀
