🔥Player Success Story: Michal Zamajtys 🔥
I met Michal as a 9 year old. He had good goalkeeper instincts but was very nervous about making mistakes so would hammer the ball upfield rather than taking a touch and starting possession.
We worked a lot on his footwork, individual possession to the point where very quickly he relaxed and began to start play expertly from the back.
Inspired, he kept working on his feet, becoming very skilled even as an outfield player. Eventually he was signed by New York City FC, establishing himself as the number 1 keeper for his age group and now entering U17 and on the pathway to pro.
All the hard work he put in earned him a callup to the Polish Youth National Team.
A good coach will improve you in the sessions you are together. What I love doing is giving my players the tools - the psychological skills, the love of learning and knowing that there is someone who believes in them - so that they keep being a success long after we stop working together.
