This Friday is our LAST Junior Training of the season. It starts at 6.15pm, and the bar and kitchen will also be open. Come down and start your weekend off right!

We will be doing the Eagles Presentation after training. Then, after that, we have live music from Jon Boswell.

Time for our weekend round-up!

Saturday saw our 1st XI pick up victory in a must-win match against Denton St Lawrence CC, who fell 32 runs short of their target. Our 2nd XI lost against Bradshaw CC, who won by 5 wickets.

On Sunday, our 3s lost against a strong Unsworth CC. Despite the loss, it was a great learning experience for the four U13s in the team, including Charlie Brown, who made his senior debut wicket-keeping.

The ladies had their last home game of the season against Heywood CC. Stand batted first, setting a good target of 293. Despite a strong fielding innings that took 5 wickets, they narrowly missed out by a single run.

It was a fantastic atmosphere with everyone supporting each other regardless of which team they were on.

For the Stand girls, most have never played together or competitively at all, and their improvement just between the two games was incredible!

We’re so proud of them all and already looking forward to next season.

Our second week of the Summer Cricket Camp is still available to book.

Run by qualified coaches Josh Pegg (our overseas player) and first teamer James Deeley.

Players will enjoy a full programme of cricket activities, focusing on core skills including:
🏏 Batting
🎯 Bowling
🙌 Fielding

Open to boys and girls aged 8–15.
£30 per day or £120 for all week.

Please bring a packed lunch. Soft drinks will be provided on the day.

🏏 Time for our weekend round-up!

A victorious Saturday this week as both the 1s and 2s teams won in must win games. The 1st XI saw off Bradshaw CC by two wickets and the 2nd XI beat Clifton CC by 104 runs.

Stand CC ladies were at home to Milnrow Maidens CC on Sunday. The Sheagles led from the front with strong bowling, however couldn’t score heavily enough with the bat to secure a win with Milnrow winning by 38 runs.
