🏏 It’s Monday, so here’s our weekly round-up! 🏏

On Saturday, our 1st XI went up against Walshaw CC, while our 2s faced Horwich RMI CC at home. Both teams, unfortunately, lost, with Horwich CC in particular putting in a strong performance.

On Sunday, our Ladies started things off with their third straight win. The ladies chased down a 301 score to win by 3 runs. Standout contributions from Jan Lane and Nikki Farmer, with Lucy Low hitting a boundary from the last ball of the game to secure the victory. In the afternoon, the 3rd XI lost their match against Woodbank CC.

A tale of two very different stories on Saturday.

The 1st XI took on Mottram CC at home. After a slight delay, a reduced overs (44) match was played. Stand opened the batting on a very bowler friendly pitch eventually winning by 103 runs. Over at Darcy Lever our 2s didn't fair so well, losing by 8 wickets. Despite this, our U13s player George Tasker took his first senior wickets.

Our 3s took on a very strong Egerton CC 3s team, losing by 7 wickets.
