We are delighted to announce that our Summer Holiday Club will be running again during the upcoming summer holidays.

The programme will take place on the following dates:

Week 1: Tuesday 28 July – Friday 31 July 2026
Week 2: Monday 3 August – Thursday 6 August 2026
Week 3: Monday 10 August – Thursday 13 August 2026
Week 4: Monday 17 August – Thursday 20 August 2026

The Holiday Club will run daily from 9:30am to 3:00pm and is open to children aged 7–14 years. A free breakfast and lunch will be provided each day.

Children are welcome to attend as many weeks as they wish.

Activities will include:

Arts and crafts
Cooking
Dance and drama
Indoor and outdoor sports
Educational and enrichment activities
This programme is funded through the Government's Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme, with priority places allocated to children who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM).

If your child is eligible for FSM, we encourage you to register as soon as possible via the MCRactive portal using the link below:

Pathwaysport.co.uk Talent Days are about much more than being spotted by scouts.
They are an opportunity to test yourself against some of the most talented young players in the region, experience a competitive football environment, and see how you perform when the standard rises.

Players are placed into balanced teams and compete in a series of round-robin matches, giving everyone plenty of game time, touches of the ball, and opportunities to showcase their ability. Scouts and football professionals attend to observe players throughout the games, while all outfield players complete a sprint test and goalkeepers take part in a specialist shot-stopping assessment.

These events provide a genuine insight into higher-level football and help players understand where they are in their development.

Youth Employment UK are currently delivering the Greater Manchester Youth Voice Census

The census is open to young people aged 11–30 living, studying, volunteering or working in Greater Manchester. The findings will help them better understand the experiences, priorities and needs of young people across the city-region and will inform future services, opportunities and decision-making.

The census is anonymous and will take around 20 minutes to complete. Young people can stop and start it if they need to return to it later on.

The census closes on 22nd June, so they are encouraging as many responses as possible before then. The link is below:

Youth Voice Census - Youth Employment UK The Youth Voice Census is the biggest annual youth survey in the UK. The Youth Voice Census 2025 closed on 6th June. Results in September.
