bc WHY NOT just go to the skatepark at 6am before work
Any time you think “I’d love to do that”
“I want to do that”
“That’d be fun”
“I WISH I could do/try that”
WRITE IT DOWN
Sometimes it’s hard to do something new when you don’t know where to start or even what to do! It’s even harder when there’s TOO many things you want to do bc it’s overwhelming and you might not do any of them.
Whenever you say or assume “one day” you’re waiting for the perfect moment or someone else to plan it
One day will never come if you’re waiting for that
Just think it, just plan it, then just do it 💕 easily said, but the more you practice, easily done ✔️
He once asked me not to post my age on the Internet
THIS IS WHY
My entire life I’ve struggled with sadness and living in between feeling like I’m never enough or way too much
Unfortunately even when we beat the mental illness that tried to take over our lives (in my case OCD) bad things out of our control, still happen and feelings we don’t wanna feel will come around - aka life goes on, things happen, and we have to cope
OCD isn’t a big problem in my life anymore but other elements of me definitely are
I think that’s something that’s quite difficult to navigate when you struggle with more than one mental illness. I sometimes don’t know if it’s me or my brain. Like what’s a valid emotion and what emotions am I only experiencing because my body reacts to things differently?
The last few weeks have been extremely difficult for me to say the least BUT instead of doing what I normally do which is self isolate, not talk about it online (bc I hate talking about my emotions in person), and feeling like I deserve to stay in my bubble of sadness - I’m going to try and talk about it and instead of glazing over the problems, try to continue to learn and heal with you instead of on my own
My mental illnesses definitely makes life a lot harder sometimes but I’ve also been able to live more life than most because of my journey with recovery. We got high highs, and low lows but no matter what we got this 🫶🏻
the cutest puppy yoga in London starts sessions in October and they have the most adorable puppies I’ve ever seen 🥹🫶🏻
Also women owned and run (by one of my friends!) so the puppies are basically treated like royalty 👑
YOU GUYS - literally teared up. I’ve actually never seen cuter puppies in my life, these vids aren’t even doing them justice!
loving the shark week content, so thought I’d add to it ✨ 🦈
Top 3 on the list to swim with next:
🦈Great whites
🦈Whale sharks
🦈Tiger Sharks
I honestly thought everyone knew it was a joke
just a reminder that healing isn’t linear, nor is it supposed to be
one of the best and most frustrating parts of life is that we will keep learning about ourselves
there’s always something new to overcome, learn, discover, fix, notice
we will never be perfect, never be “done”, we’ll always have things to work on - and if we didn’t - there’d be nothing to keep going for
figuring out life: who you are, what you love, where you can see, is the purpose of life.
What makes you happy? If you don’t know, you GET to figure that out
Who makes you feel like yourself? If you haven’t found them, keep searching
Why are you the way you are? If you don’t like it or know, go on a journey to become the best parts of yourself
It’s never over until it’s over. You can restart as many times as you want until you’re 120+ years old. It’s never too late, you’re never too far gone, you just have to keep going and know you’re never alone ❤️🩹
