What a fantastic and super-relaxing week boating on the Norfolk Broads.
Although we had a rough route in mind, we really took each day one moment at a time. When we woke up, we'd simply decide which direction to head in, with no fixed destination. And if we spotted a pretty spot with an available mooring, we'd stop and enjoy it.
It feels really freeing not having a schedule and just letting the days unfold.
And the company made it even more special.
We were joined by our very distant Canadian cousins — my mum's twin sister's husband's father's first cousin's son and his wife! 😂
Are we even related at all?!
Despite not knowing each other that well beforehand, everything just flowed so easily. Great conversations, lots of laughter, shared meals, and a lovely feeling of being completely at ease.
Feeling refreshed, grateful and reminded that my best holidays are the ones where you slow down, let go of the plan, and simply see where life takes you. Reminds me of our amazing rainforest flow memory - a story for another time...
Now the challenge is to bring that flowing ease into daily life!
Sometimes the most powerful changes aren’t physical.
They’re the beliefs we’ve been carrying without even realising it.
After her back injury, Rachel had come to believe:
"I'm not strong enough."
At the time, it felt true.
But when we explored the emotional roots of that experience and worked through them with EFT, something shifted.
When I asked her how true that belief felt now?
"It just doesn't resonate. I'd have to say a zero."
Imagine how differently you move through life when you're no longer carrying a belief like that.
