PARTNER SPOTLIGHT | Stainless Brass & Glass

Spent some time at Stainless Brass & Glass this month. They're the architectural metalwork and glass firm from St Leonards-on-Sea who came on board with me this season.

From the outside it's a unit on an industrial estate. Inside there's someone cutting steel to a drawing that was on a screen an hour earlier, and someone else hand finishing a handrail because a machine can't do that last bit.

That's the part I didn't expect. It isn't all digital and it isn't all by hand, it's both on the same piece.

Every job gets designed in house, made in their own workshop, and one engineer stays with it from the first drawing to the final install.

FLETCHER JAMIESON | JUNIOR ROTAX | ROUND 5

Heat one I finished third, 0.48 off the fastest lap. Heat three I moved up to second, 0.28 off pace, and I could feel the gap closing.

Final day I put it all together and won it. Not the outright fastest lap of the race but I did what mattered, led the ones that counted and took the win.

Flat Out Fletch tops Junior Rotax Qualifying at PF International with a best lap of 57.83. Pole position from a huge Junior Rotax entry is a brilliant way to open Round 5, and it sets Fletcher up perfectly for the racing ahead. One day of TVKC action still to come at PFI, and the target now is turning that pace into results on track.

PFI is relentless. Fast corners at the start, then that technical section in the middle that punishes hesitation. The esses flow if you've got it right. The chicane is sharp and demands respect. Then it builds back up to the line. It's a proper racing circuit, honest about what it wants, and it rewards drivers who can piece it all together.

Fletcher's back at PF International this weekend for Round 5, and if you know the place, you know why we love it.

Ten named turns wind their way round Brandon in Lincolnshire, and the circuit's the only one in Britain to hold an International A Grade CIK-FIA licence, so the standard out there never drops. Fletcher's Loop, the Fullerton Esses, Litchfield Bridge, they all demand something different, and getting the rhythm right across all 1,382 metres is what separates the front of the grid from the rest.

Two days on track at one of the best circuits going.

Stainless Brass & Glass are coming on board, they design and build staircases, balustrades and architectural glass out of a workshop in St Leonards-on-Sea.

Seeing how they work changed how I think about the word "finished". Nothing leaves there half right, and thats the ethos that I take into my racing.
