Every child should be carefully nurtured and raised with mindfulness.
This young student is preparing to sit the Grade 5 National Scholarship Examination in August 2026. Earlier, he consistently scored around 175 marks. However, due to a lack of concentration, stress and focus, his marks dropped to 128.
Through carefully guided mindfulness practices, engaging awareness activities, and, most importantly, meditation, we helped restore his concentration and focus. After just 7 mindfulness sessions, his scores improved back to 165–176 marks.
Yes, you read that right—significant improvements in focus and concentration were achieved within only seven sessions through consistent mindfulness training and meditation.

New research shows that increasing daily walking can meaningfully extend life expectancy, especially for adults who are currently inactive. Study models suggest that people who reach around 160 minutes of moderate walking per day, roughly three miles per hour, could live substantially longer than those with minimal activity. Even adding smaller amounts of walking for previously sedentary individuals can produce measurable benefits. This simple form of exercise supports overall cardiovascular function, improves metabolism, maintains healthy weight, and reduces the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers.
Walking also enhances mental well‑being by reducing stress and improving mood, contributing to long‑term health. Activities like brisk walks, taking stairs, or incorporating walking into daily routines can collectively add up to significant daily movement. Researchers estimate that adults who are least active could gain up to eleven additional years of life by gradually increasing walking duration to recommended levels.
The findings highlight that consistent, accessible physical activity can have profound effects on longevity. Even moderate, achievable daily walking can improve overall quality of life and reduce long‑term health risks, emphasizing that small lifestyle changes can yield substantial benefits.

New research from Harvard shows that sleep does more than just rest the body. It plays a direct role in making our memories stronger and more stable. When we learn something new during the day, the brain stores those experiences first in a temporary area called the hippocampus. Later, during sleep, especially deep sleep, the brain quietly replays the activity patterns that happened while we were awake. This replay helps move memories from short-term storage into more permanent networks across the brain’s outer layer, the cortex. This slow transfer protects memories from fading and makes them easier to recall later.
Scientists found that special waves of brain activity during sleep act like a conductor organizing a rehearsal. These waves coordinate the hippocampus and cortex, synchronising memory signals so they can be rewritten into long-lasting form. When this sleep-linked replay is blocked or interrupted, memories stay fragile and can be lost more easily. This explains why studying all night without proper sleep often leads to poorer recall the next day.
This new understanding also shows that sleep is not passive but actively reshapes and preserves memory traces. Getting enough quality sleep after learning can strengthen what we remember and help our brains store information more securely.
