We are so excited for this gathering! We have an amazing keynote line up (shout out to Father Gregory Boyle, Dr Gwen Adshead, Jacob Dunne, Chalke and HHJ Judy Khan KC!). But most of all, we're excited to be convening conversation, ideas, and action that we know really matter.
Change isn't a nice-to-have in the justice system. It is necessary and urgent. We need a system that works better for everyone, and breaks cycles of harm. We hope you'll bring your ideas, your intent for change, and come and join the movement!

170ft. One tower. One incredible team. 💙🧗
Recently, members of Media City UK Church & Community Hub took on an amazing challenge, abseiling down the Trafford Palazzo Tower to raise funds for our community work in Salford, Manchester.
The goal is to raise £1,700. Help our team meet the target here: https://oasischaritabletrust.enthuse.com/cf/oasis-abseil-manchester
Well done to everyone who took part - you've made us all so proud! 👏
Every challenge like this helps strengthen our work with local communities, and it's brilliant to see our movement coming together to make a difference.

Join Steve Chalke MBE, Kat Agar, and Dave Parr for a one-day conference on local community leadership.
Through a series of thought-provoking sessions, we will explore:
◼️What are the challenges and opportunities in communities and how do we grow the leadership skills required?
◼️How do we build power, agency, and belonging in communities, doing things ‘with and alongside’ people, rather than ‘to’ or ‘for’ them?
◼️How do we build sustainability, pioneer new ideas, and lead change so that communities thrive?
◼️How do we build strong and effective partnerships in schools, healthcare settings, youth work agencies, faith groups, local charities, housing associations, and many others?
If you’re a charity leader, social entrepreneur, faith leader, educator, healthcare professional or passionate about your community, this is for you.

👑 A royal visit! 👑
Last month, His Majesty King Charles III met with Oasis students and leaders in Grimsby.
At Horizon Youth Zone, students from Oasis Academy Wintringham, Immingham and Nunsthorpe shared how after-school activities and support services are helping young people thrive.
Alli, one of our students, said: “The King said he was impressed that I played badminton and said I should keep going with it. He was quietly spoken and I felt so privileged to have met him."
His Majesty also met with Michelle Donner, Oasis Youth and Community Director for the North East, during an event hosted by Our Future, where local leaders discussed how communities can be empowered to shape their own futures.
We are proud to be part of such an excellent opportunity to showcase the passion, talent and potential of young people and communities across Grimsby.

“We’ve got a growing number of outcasts who are willing to burn the whole place down to feel its warmth and if you keep ostracising them, we keep labelling them as racists and bigots, we will only perpetuate the problem.”
Words from Jacob Dunne, author, campaigner and upcoming Restoration Revolution speaker, in a recent interview with The Guardian on the cycle of male violence.
Jacob argues whilst violent behaviour is not excusable, we must address its underlying causes which is often a deep need for love and belonging. Restorative justice is the key.
