Last week, we were delighted to invite Angela Whitty to a school in West London, to speak to over 200 girls about her incredible journey in the world of Technology and Business. Angela (CEO, Managing Director and Non Executive Director) who has had 35 years in the industry, shared her journey with the students and also delivered a workshop on career plans and different options that were open in the industry. The feedback was really positive and it’s always important to share role models with the next generation.

As always, great to see our FCF legend .a who helped organise the morning and who is now a qualified PE teacher herself, helping the next generation and helping to make a difference!

Just smile! You did it! Today I got to watch .a graduate from University and not just that, she got a 1st in her last year which after the tragic event in her life 8 months ago this is truly incredible!

You really are a leader, role model and an inspiration for so many reasons!

We could write pages and pages of your journey. Since young, there were always doubts about what your journey would look like but for us it was always simple, you were going to be a true success and standing there today watching you graduate, we and the people who are part of FCF could not be prouder. Over the last 7 years, you have shown great growth, maturity and drive! You have helped deliver programmes in multiple primary and secondary schools and helped coach at our free football sessions whilst also offering some key advice to other young people on education, being themselves and general life.

In your life, like for many, there have been people judging, questioning and you have also received the highs and lows in the football game but despite all of this, you just kept and keep on going. Like many young people we know, your story is so powerful and the next stage of your journey which is already planned out is going to be incredible. As we said to you last week, you are going to go to the top and make more change!

P.S. Just know as you do, Tosin is looking down today as always with a big smile on her face because like everyone, she would be so proud! You smashed it! 🎉
