Rainbow chard, courgette & ricotta bucatini with pine nuts.
I’ve decided to start including posts every now and again of what I’ve been cooking recently. For those of you who know me, know my love of cooking and food are up there with gardening.
All recipes are my own and are inspired by what’s growing, what’s in season, what I can find in my kitchen or what I want to eat! I hope you enjoy 😋

With Chelsea about to start for another year, I can’t help but look back at last year. Forever grateful to for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to be part of his amazing team. Sad to not be there this year, but good luck to everyone that is 💚

If you haven’t done it yet, now’s the perfect time to prune your hydrangeas!
For Hydrangea arborescens, such as this ‘Annabelle’ and paniculata, such as ‘Limelight’, cut back the old stems to around 20-30cm or 2-3 healthy buds from the base. You can cut back to ground level or leave higher depending on how tall you want your stems to be, but taller growth does require more support.
For Hydrangea macrophylla - your classic mophead hydrangeas in blue, pink & white, simply remove the dead flowerheads, cutting back to the uppermost pair of strong, healthy buds.
Happy Friday all 🌸

What a year for Magnolias it’s been. Magnolia stellata here, in one of the beautiful gardens I’m lucky enough to work in.
