A season full of challenges, lessons, growth and perspective. Results didn’t always go our way, but that’s football. It’s the game we love and hate at the same time, and honestly off the pitch it’s been one of the toughest seasons mentally too. Football can be such an amazing game, but it can also be incredibly difficult when you’re constantly receiving and hearing negativity, opinions and criticism from the outside.

People are quick to speak on mental health and encourage support once someone is openly struggling, without realising that sometimes the comments, negativity and pressure are building behind closed doors. As players we are human, and words can affect someone far more than people realise. So just a reminder to be kind - you never truly know what someone is dealing with away from the pitch.

That said, I want to say thank you to the fans who supported us through every high and low this season. Your support never goes unnoticed, especially during the difficult moments this season and unfortunately there were a few.

Through the toughest moments this season, I’m proud of is how this team has kept fighting together on the pitch. No matter the setbacks, these girls continued to dig deep for each other every single game and never stopped pushing until the end.

I’ll always give absolutely everything for this club (except being sick on live tv 😅) and do whatever is best for the team, always putting the team first.

Chelsea will be back to the winning mentality it is known for!
