Combattiamo fascismo, razzismo, sessismo e omofobia in ogni campo della Essex Senior League al fianco del Clapton FC. Siamo la Brigata Italiana.

Siamo donne e uomini italiani a Londra. Siamo contro ogni tipo di discriminazione fascista, razzista, sessista e omofoba. Siamo disgustati dal calcio moderno. I Clapton Ultras alcuni anni fa hanno deciso di esportare in Essex Senior League un modello di calcio diverso, fatto di ragazze e ragazzi che pensano che la curva di uno stadio possa essere un ambiente dove tutte le diversità siano rispettat

e. Per questo sono stati il nostro punto di riferimento, il gruppo in cui ci siamo identificati e di cui siamo entrati orgogliosamente a fare parte. Da un anno a questa parte, insieme al gruppo esistente, abbiamo dimostrato che nel 2015 è ancora possibile essere antifascisti negli stadi, e utilizzare gli spalti come megafono per i nostri ideali politici che si basano sulla lotta a qualsiasi tipo di discriminazione sessuale e razziale. Adesso che la Brigata Italiana conta quasi 30 persone, ad un anno dalla nascita del gruppo vogliamo portare i valori in cui crediamo anche fuori dal campo organizzando attività a sfondo sociale, politico, solidale ma anche ricreativo. Questa pagina Facebook si propone di essere un punto di riferimento per chiunque viva a Londra e condivida gli stessi nostri ideali e voglia unirsi per portare avanti - insieme - battaglie e fare qualcosa di concreto per migliorare la società in cui viviamo. We are the 'Brigata Italiana'. Italian women and men from different backgrounds who live in London. We proudly stand against Fascism, Racism, Sexism and Homophobic discrimination in any form. A few years ago, Clapton Ultras decided to bring a different idea of supporting to the Essex Senior League. Something that had rarely been seen in UK before. A group of people who shared the idea of the terraces as a space where diversity is respected, appraised and endorsed. A stronghold for those who firmly believe that there is a concrete and possible alternative to the mainstream British (and European) football culture. These people soon became a reference point for us. It was not long before we started standing on the Scaffold with them. During the last year, we successfully demonstrated how it is still possible to be football fans while remaining loyal to antifascist ideals, together with the C.U. Not only is The Scaffold a place where you stand during a football match, it is also what we use to promote the idea that any kind of discrimination has to be fought until the end. Streets or Terraces don’t matter. That’s why we are currently arranging political, social and entertaining activities in and outside the Ground. This page has to be the reference for everyone out there sharing our ideas. Those who believe that through the struggle we can make this society a better place. C'Mon Brigata Italiana! La Brigata Ultrá, always antifa!

Saturday will be a big day for us.

In the afternoon we will be at the semifinal of the Anagram Records Trophy where Clapton CFCwill play Ware F.C.. The ground is quite tricky to get to, but no need to worry, we have organised a coach that will bring everyone there

After that, we will head to the Amersham Arms, where we are having our event( Bring the Noise! ~Militant Rap Fest~) in solidarity with our comrade who's facing a trial for antiascism.

This is really important for us, and the reasons are explained in the flyer below.

Please bear in mind that the coach has been organised taking into account the game and the event afterwards so no stress, we've made it easy for both :D

Nei giorni passati avrete sicuramente visto i post in solidarieta' al nostro compagno, amico e membro della Brigata Ultra' Clapton.

Globalproject.info - che ringraziamo - ha ricostruito l'intera vicenda, dando anche un'ottima lettura sul contesto generale della politica inglese in cui quella vicenda viene contestualizzata.

Come abbiamo ripetuto piu' volte in questi giorni, la solidarieta' e' un arma.

Oggi alla partita venderemo queste magliette in supporto al nostro compagno - i fondi serviranno per pagare le spese legali e la probabile multa che arrivera' - per i fatti del 9 Dicembre! (info al post sotto in inglese).

Lo scorso 9 dicembre tre attivisti sono stati arrestati durante il corteo antifascista in opposizione a Tommy Robinson e la sua propaganda basata su odio e discrimazione.

Uno di questi é membro della Brigata Ultrá Clapton.

Dalle ceneri dei Clapton Ultras è nata la Brigata Ultrá Clapton!

A seguito dello scioglimento dei CU, molti di noi non si sono rassegnati all'idea di lasciare svanire quello che abbiamo contribuito a costruire negli ultimi 5 anni e ci siamo riorganizzati, formando la BUC, gruppo dove è confluita la Brigata Italiana insieme a compagni e compagne, con cui condividiamo i principi dell'antifascismo militante.

Questa stagione ci troverete allo Stray Dog di Walthamstow a sostenere il Clapton Community FC, con l'orgoglio di sempre e la mentalità che ci contraddistingue.

Following the disbanding of the Clapton Ultras, many of us could not accept the idea of letting go what we have contributed to build over the last 5 years. Therefore we have re-organised and set up the BUC. Boys and girls of the BI will stand together with many old and new comrades that share the same values of militant antifascism.

This season we will be at the Stray Dog in Walthamstow, supporting CCFC, always with the same old mentality and passion.

We are a mix of locals and proud foreigners living in East London who have found unity around their love for Clapton over the last few years, gradually becoming an active part of the Clapton Ultras.

We are a group of radical, self organising antifascists: we reject any form of marginalisation in the society we live in. We openly stand against gender, sexual and racial discrimination and we firmly oppose those who make their politics around oppression and intolerance.

We are looking forward to continuing to inhabit a space that we helped build over the last 6 years this next season at Clapton Community FC, support grassroots football with passion and with noise, and help build a stronger antifascist network.

Clapton FC is the team that we have always supported and it is not our intention to abandon this. We will organise to keep supporting that team when we can, and oppose McBean's regime with the same unchanged spirit we adopted during last season with the Clapton Ultras.

We strongly believe that the Scaffold at the Old Spotted Dog is our home. There we have our roots and there we hope to return with the Club that better represents Clapton's history; the one that is run by its fans: Clapton Community Football Club.

Until then, we will be here singing loudly at the Stray Dog, our new temporary home, with the same distinguishable attitude and good spirit as always.

Cosa ne sará della Brigata non possiamo ancora saperlo, ma di certo non abbiamo nessuna intezione di cambiare il nostro modo di essere.
