Our writer Natalie Mitchell was sent a book via her agent from a fellow Kent writer following the show- but it got lost in the post! If this is you, or you know who it might be, please do get in touch. She'd absolutely love to read it!

‘A recorder’s farewell’
We used to be a mighty team, With our job we were besotted,
Until one day the government said we could all get knotted.
They said you had a job for life, But that has been belied,
It’s finished, over, gone for good, You’ve even lost your pride.
They think you are a robot, Your life don’t mean a thing
Just like a puppet you will jump, When they pull the string.
They don’t care if you’re worried, Or if you think they’re hard,
You have to go, get out, get lost, We’re going to close the yard.
These verses are from a poem written by Geoff Harrison PTO IV Recorder, writing into the Periscope Postbag (the internal dockyard newspaper) at the time of the closure.
Our brilliant team & musical director have brought them to life for the show. Buy tix anythingother.com
