CPPS - Round 4

Another strong weekend for the lads. 👊

We came into the weekend ready to put a shift in, and the team delivered. We qualified 2nd in our group, losing just one game throughout the prelims and putting ourselves in a strong position heading into the knockout stages.

A hard-fought quarter-final against Ironwolf Paintball team saw us progress into the semis, where we faced an on-form UK Redskins Paintball Team. Another close game, but unfortunately we came out on the wrong side of a 3–2 scoreline.

That put us into the 3rd place playoff against ICON Paintball Team. We took an early lead, but they adjusted effectively and came back with a strong reset to take the game 2–1.

Not the result we wanted, but plenty of positives to take from the weekend and another solid showing from the lads, still sitting 3rd overall for the season with it all to play for in the last round.

Unfortunately, the weekend started on a worrying note, with Jason and Kerry involved in an RTA on the way up and unable to make the event. Thankfully, they're both home and recovering, and most importantly, they're okay. ❤️

What a weekend! 🔥 🔫

We got off to a fantastic start, topping our preliminary group and showing exactly what this squad is capable of. Unfortunately, our run came to an end in the quarter-finals against The Turks.

After taking an early 2-0 lead, they dug deep, fought their way back, and edged us out 3-2. Credit where it's due, they played a great game.

While we're disappointed not to have gone further, there are plenty of positives to take away from a great weekend. With two rounds still to play, division 3 is wide open. Everything is still up for grabs, and we'll be working hard to come back even stronger.

As always, it was brilliant catching up with everyone in the paintball community. A huge thank you to CPPS and the entire event crew for delivering another outstanding tournament, along with all of the referees whose hard work keeps the games running smoothly and professionally.

A special shout-out also goes to BZ Paintball for their continued support and for supplying the Pro-shar paintballs, which were absolutely flawless all weekend. Top-quality paint and service, as always.

Thank you to everyone who supported us throughout the weekend. Time to get back to work and prepare for the final two rounds.
