Sometimes you make something that just doesn’t feel right, and rather than leaving it sitting there unloved, the only thing to do is to dismantle it and start again.
This ring has been given a makeover with a quite stunning blue spinel from and two little lab grown diamonds set in 14ct gold on a textured silver band. I couldn’t love it more, though trying to get a good photo of it today has been challenging, and I seem to have included a bit of white fluff which I didn’t notice till I cropped the pic!

The bits the right wing media don’t like to talk about!

Hearts and diamonds were meant to go together, don’t you think? A gorgeous rose cut grey diamond with loads of sparkle (courtesy of ) set in yellow gold, and teamed with a textured silver heart.

And still on the subject of diamonds, a black diamond has its own beauty, with stunning sparkle, and looks lovely paired with yellow gold, in this case, a molten gold pebble, made from bits of broken old jewellery, melted down and given a new lease of life ❤️

There’s nothing quite like a diamond. But… is this one mined, or lab grown? Can you tell? The simple answer to anyone wondering is, no, you can’t. Why? Because they are identical in every way (except for sustainability and price)! And both stunningly beautiful ❤️💎

A precious gift of a sapphire had to be set in a heart pendant, because that’s where it belongs ❤️

I so loved how the pearls turned out in my previous post, that I gave my wedding pearls a long overdue re-string, this time pairing them with fabulously sparkly tiny faceted champagne zircon beads (NOT cubic zirconia!) . So, so pretty 😍

Goodness, it’s been an age since I last posted! So here’s something new. Still on a mission to utilise the bits and bobs I already have, the little pendant is a sterling silver pebble made from melted scrap. Set with an aquamarine cabochon, and hanging from some lovely baroque pearls left over from another piece. I didn’t have enough, so interspersed them with tiny faceted aquamarine beads, also leftovers.

40 years ago today, just about now, my life changed forever. Feeling blessed ❤️
