You are allowed to lower the key of a song, or change the arrangement, slow it down etc, so that you can express yourself how you want to in that moment? How you feel the song makes YOU sound the best?

This is how I was getting this song. Lower and slower. I just toured in ‘crazy, lower key, karaoke’ and this backing came up.

Always wanted to learn guitar but didn’t know where to start? This friendly beginner group is the perfect place to build confidence, learn the basics, and start playing songs in a relaxed and supportive environment.

🎤 Looking for an intermediate singing group in London?

If you’ve had a few singing lessons before, sung in a choir, or already have some experience using your voice, I’d love to welcome you to my Monday evening singing group in Camden. We’ll be going over technique, singing together, and harmonising too!

I’ve been teaching singing for 17 years and performing professionally for 24 years, mainly in soul, R&B, pop, jazz and bossa nova. My aim is to create a relaxed, supportive space where you can keep developing your voice, improve your musicianship, learn harmonies, and enjoy making music with other singers.

As well as teaching, I’m well connected with the soul, jazz and open mic scene across London, so I’m always happy to point singers towards opportunities to perform, jam and become part of the city’s music community. I may even have a performance opportunity for you at the end of the course!
