Please send us a DM so we can send you the Zoom link to join us for our Spiritual Sesh on Tuesday!❤

Skateboarding is about 90% mental 10% physical. In order to be able to learn to skateboard and progress, it helps developing your internal strength in order to overcome the mental barriers one will face in skateboarding. This is why we started this weekly Spiritual Sesh in hopes that it will be beneficial for both muslim and non muslim women to learn the ways in which Islam teaches us to build our internal world in order to face our external world.

🛹 World Humanitarian Day 🌏

Today, we honour the aid workers who show up in the hardest places, often at great personal risk, to help people affected by conflict, disaster, displacement, and crisis.

From delivering food and medical care to providing shelter, protection, and hope, humanitarian workers stand alongside communities when they need support the most. ❤️

We stand with humanitarian workers everywhere- including those serving communities in Congo 🇨🇩, Sudan 🇸🇩, Palestine 🇵🇸, Haiti 🇭🇹 and beyond.

Thank you for showing up for humanity. 🤍

A huge thank you to Huck Magazine for featuring Skater Uktis and helping share our story with a wider community. 🛹❤️

This feature means so much to us, not just because it shines a light on what we’re building, but because it reflects the people, places, and communities that make Skater Uktis what it is.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this happen:

🇵🇰 Sumayya Batool: Skater Uktis representative for Lahore, Pakistan
🇺🇸 N نداء: Skater Uktis representative for Colorado
🇵🇸 Nadeen | ندين: Skater Uktis representative for Jenin, Palestine
zahra 🇮🇷🇮🇳 : the brilliant writer who brought our story to life ✍🏼

And, of course, thank you to every skater, supporter, organiser, volunteer, and member of our community who continues to show up and make this movement possible.

Skater Uktis has always been about more than skating. It’s about connection, community, belonging, and creating spaces where people can come together from wherever they are in the world.
