Happy Tuesday Brewsday feat. Fruited Sour (+ Raspberry + Passionfruit) by & ***rbrewing

I know what you’re all thinking… A SOUR?!?! Ok yes I’m trying to diversify my beer types 💅🏻 Y’all know I love to support a q***r company but it was actually totally by accident that I picked up this collab brew! I got it from and didn’t realize til I got home. The beer is 4.0% ABV and pours a pinkish red. Nice and tart with lots of flavour! I definitely like it, but I can tell I’m still getting used to sours 😅

I’m baaaaaack… tbh the last year has been tough being a musician who likes craft beer, as there’s been very little work and craft beer is expensive. There’s still not a ton of work, but getting a can once in a while is doable, all about moderation!!
•
First beer back is Perfect Sounds from - an American style IPA with a ABV of 6.7%. Tbh this is a pretty low ABV for Pentrich, so it was nice to know I could enjoy this one without getting tipsy 😂
•
To me it tastes a bit like a west coast while having the look of an east coast. It is super murky, but has a citrusy taste with a piney, bitter finish. It’s got that typical Pentrich zing to it that makes you know you’re drinking something alcoholic, but I think that’s part of what I like about their beers! Always happy to try a beer from them and I haven’t been disappointed yet!

I fully went through this entire day thinking it was Tuesday, so I’m just gonna say Happy feat. Makin’ Waves
•
First, a crazy story about this one. I picked it up from and when Dave showed it to me I was shocked that the can said “brewed in Oceanside, NY.” I grew up in Baldwin, NY, literally the next town over, and I’m JUST discovering of this brewery while I’m in Stratford-Upon-Avon, England 🤯😂
•
Makin’ Waves 004 is an NEIPA with an ABV of 7.8%. Pours a hazy gold with an off-white head. Fruity aroma with a hint of pine. Similar tropical flavours, got a lot of orange, with a moderately bitter finish. I really enjoyed this beer and am SO glad I now know there’s an awesome craft brewery 5 mins from my parents house. Will be visiting as soon as I’m back in the states!!

There’s been a lot of homophobia going around lately due to the extreme division happening in politics, so I thought I’d give everyone this reminder - Beer is for Everyone! You can get this design on a t-shirt from q***rforbeer.com - Link in Bio

Happy feat. Neal Gets Things Done by - picked this one up from - check them out if you’re around the Stratford-upon-Avon area!
•
Neal Gets Things Done is a Hazy IPA with an ABV of 6.5%. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a medium head. Lots of juicy fruits; mango, pineapple, peach, etc. Smooth with a great bitter finish. Definitely loving everything I’ve had from Verdant so far!

Happy ft. Saturated in Simcoe by - I picked this one up from and I absolutely LOVE their new shop and tasting room. If you’re around Stratford-upon-Avon, I highly suggest popping in before the lockdown on Thursday!
•
Quick reminder, my giveaway is still open for 2 more days!! Check out my last post
•
Saturated in Simcoe is the first I’ve had of the Saturated series and I was not disappointed. It pours a hazy gold with a medium white head. Immediately you can smell some tropical fruits and a bit of pine, which is exactly how it tastes. Light bodied with a nice, hoppy finish. Looking forward to trying Saturated in Strat later this eve 😍🍻

Happy Friday! Been trying a few different alcohol free beers throughout lockdown, but tbh this feels like the first one posting about. Got a tip from my friend about - so happy he told me about it!
•
•
I got the variety pack directly from their website, so naturally started with the IPA. It certainly was hoppy, not a whole lot of flavour to it, but definitely the first non-alcoholic IPA that I enjoyed. Looking forward to trying the others!

SHOOP there it is!!! Had to checkout Tesco’s new line of craft beers and this one was on it! Technically this my second from and it’s a collab with ! (Btw, I had this one in September!)
•
I have to say, I really loved this one. Once October is over, I’m heading back for more. This one was packed with tropical flavours. Think there were a couple of new hops for me as well! Poured a super hazy, pale yellow. Bring on November!!

Happy feat. Chuggernaut Session IPA by and the LAST Brewsday post before Sober October! If you’re interested in joining my team “Dry.P.A.” for Sober October, send me a DM. I’ll still be supporting breweries by buying Non-Alcoholic beers directly from them.

Also, I’ll be doing another giveaway once I hit 1.5K followers! Help would be much appreciated!! x
•
Anyway, back to the beer! This session IPA clocks in at 4.7% ABV and 40 IBU. I’m partial to supporting craftier breweries, but it’s always nice to see a new beer in a supermarket craft line, this one was at M&S . This one pours a hazy pale yellow with barely any head, immediately got citrusy notes. Pretty juicy but tbh I enjoyed this one! Nothing super special to write home about, it’s a pretty standard NEIPA, but all in all it was nice to drink!

Happy Weekend!!! I’ve been a bit quiet lately as I’ve been trying to get to a better place with my health and fitness, so I’ve had a bit less time to focus on this account. HOWEVER, she is here, she is q***r, and she’s gonna do another giveaway when she gets to 1500 followers (pass it on)!!!

I’ve FINALLY jumped on the hype train and there is no looking back! Absolutely loved this DIPA packed with Citra & Simcoe (among others)! It’s super smooth for a DIPA, definitely the right way to do an 8.5% beer! Welp, now I’m on the Pomona train. My heart is happy, my wallet is sad, onto the next one!
