We are thrilled to announce our newest member of the CLM Pilates team, Alice! Her journey with Pilates began 8 transformative years ago. Pilates quickly became Alice’s haven - a sanctuary of calm, strength and confidence through the trials of undergraduate and Post masters degrees. Realising her heart yearned for a more impactful career outside of the corporate PR world, Alice embarked on a path to turn her passion into a profession, striving to make a tangible difference in people’s lives and witness their growth. Alice’s diverse experience, including work at BXR and FORM Pilates, enriches her approach to teaching, bringing a unique perspective to CLM. It’s our absolute pleasure to welcome Alice to the team, and we cannot wait for you to experience her classes, filled with fun challenges, the exhilaration of feeling the burn, and an infectious positivity. Let's talk about shaking during your Pilates workout⚡
First things first, let's make it clear, shaking on the reformer/wunda chair is COMPLETELY normal👇🏼
Many of my clients have experienced this and questioned if they are doing the movement wrong or if it is a sign of weakness...
When in fact shaking during your Pilates workout is a sign that your muscles are working hard and you are pushing yourself 💪🏼
The muscle endurance that you will build up during this shaking is actually going to help build your overall health & fitness!
It is a sign that a particular muscle group is working so hard that there isn't enough energy left in your body to keep your nerves on track so they respond to this by shaking - it should not be feared, and instead welcomed!
