And perhaps most importantly, having the humility to say:

I WAS WRONG.

There is enormous spiritual freedom in taking responsibility for our mistakes.

The ego wants to defend, justify and protect the image we have created of ourselves.

But the Higher Self simply asks:

WHAT IS TRUE?

Sometimes we convince ourselves that withholding the truth protects those we love. We carry secrets, suppress emotions and hide our feelings because we fear causing pain.

But every untruth becomes something your soul must carry.

One lie requires another.

One hidden feeling requires another mask.

One avoided conversation creates another energetic knot.

Eventually, you are no longer protecting anyone.

You are imprisoning yourself within a reality that no longer reflects who you truly are.

Have the courage to tell the truth.

Have the courage to admit what you feel.

Have the courage to own your mistakes.

Have the courage to disappoint the version of you others expect you to be.

Because truth creates AUTHENTICITY.

Authenticity creates ALIGNMENT.

And alignment brings you closer to your HIGHER SELF.

Your soul does not need you to be perfect.

It needs you to be REAL.

When we hear the word “Matrix”, we might imagine a hidden system controlling humanity.

But perhaps the Matrix is much simpler than that.

Perhaps it is the invisible programming we absorb from the moment we enter this world.

Go to school. Get a job. Earn more money. Buy the house. Find the partner. Build the career. Keep achieving. Keep consuming. Keep scrolling. Keep going.

And somewhere amongst all that noise, we can forget to ask one incredibly important question:

IS THIS ACTUALLY THE LIFE I WANT?

The Matrix, spiritually speaking, can be understood as living unconsciously.

It is following beliefs you never chose, chasing definitions of success you never created and measuring your worth through money, possessions, appearance, status and other people’s approval.

It is staying in the wrong job because leaving feels frightening.

Remaining in relationships you have outgrown because being alone feels uncomfortable.

Silencing your intuition because society tells you to be “realistic”.

Filling every quiet moment with your phone because silence might force you to finally hear yourself.

And perhaps most powerfully, believing every thought that enters your mind.

“I’m not good enough.”

“I could never do that.”

“What will people think?”

But are those thoughts really yours?

Or were they inherited through childhood, education, culture, trauma, expectations and conditioning?

Awakening does not mean abandoning society, rejecting money or disappearing into the mountains.

It means becoming CONSCIOUS.

You can work, earn money, enjoy beautiful things, use technology and participate fully in modern life without allowing those things to define you.

The difference is that you begin to CHOOSE.

You question your beliefs.

You recognise your conditioning.

You listen to your intuition.

You stop living for approval.

You become the author of your own life.

Perhaps escaping the Matrix was never about escaping the world at all.

Perhaps it was about waking up enough to stop living your life on default.

✨🪷 HOW TO SAFELY OPEN & CLOSE YOUR CHAKRAS 🪷✨

Meditation can be a beautiful way to quieten the mind, connect with your intuition and become receptive to Divine guidance.

But within spiritual practice, opening your energy should always begin with INTENTION and PROTECTION.

Lie comfortably on your back, close your eyes and place your hands over your heart or beside your body.

🙏 Begin with prayer.

Ask God, Source or the Divine to surround you with protection. Invite your guides and angels to walk beside you, then visualise a brilliant WHITE LIGHT forming a protective bubble around your entire body.

Now regulate your breathing.

Breathe IN through your nose for 5 seconds, allowing the breath to comfortably fill your lungs.

HOLD for 5 seconds.

Slowly breathe OUT through softly pursed lips for 5 seconds.

Repeat 5–6 times, or until relaxed. Never strain your breath.

🪷 Now open your chakras.

Beginning at the ROOT, visualise a red lotus slowly opening its petals.

Move upwards:

🔴 Root
🟠 Sacral
🟡 Solar Plexus
🟢 Heart
🔵 Throat
🟣 Third Eye
💜 Crown

Visualise each lotus in its corresponding colour gently opening.

Once you reach the Crown, become STILL.

Ask:

✨ “God, Source, Universe and Divine Guidance, what would you have me know?” ✨

Then LISTEN.

Don’t search for answers. Allow thoughts, feelings, images and impressions to enter your awareness and flow away naturally.

When you are ready to finish, give thanks for the guidance you have received and thank your guides and angels for their protection.

Now CLOSE your chakras.

Begin at the Crown and work downwards, visualising each lotus gently folding its petals closed until you reach the Root.

Within spiritual practice, this symbolises ending your receptive state, restoring your energetic boundaries and grounding yourself.

Feel your body. Wiggle your fingers and toes. Breathe naturally.

✨ Receive without expectation.
✨ Close with gratitude.

There are people you love. People you lose. And then, perhaps once in a lifetime, there is someone your soul seems to RECOGNISE.

Your Twin Flame.

The connection is difficult to explain because it does not feel like falling in love with somebody new.

It feels like REMEMBERING somebody you have always known.

Their presence feels familiar. Their energy feels like HOME.

And once you experience a connection of that depth, something within you becomes profoundly still.

Even if you cannot be together.

Even if circumstances separate you.

Even if you accept that you may never share the relationship your human heart imagined.

You simply have no desire to replace them.

Not because you are bitter. Not because you are waiting.

But because you have experienced a depth of connection ordinary attraction can no longer reach.

You can meet beautiful, kind, extraordinary people who would make wonderful partners.

And yet, nothing within you wants them.

Your body does not respond.

Your mind does not wander towards them.

Your soul does not reach for them.

You would rather sleep alone than beside somebody your soul does not recognise.

You would rather build an entire LIFE alone than ask another soul to occupy a space within you that does not belong to them.

Perhaps this is the most misunderstood part of the Twin Flame journey.

Sometimes the deepest love story does not end in a relationship.

Sometimes it ends in ACCEPTANCE.

You can love a soul without possessing them.

You can release the expectation of being together without releasing the LOVE.

You can wish them happiness, freedom and a beautiful life, even if that life does not include you.

Because when love becomes truly pure, it stops asking:

“What can I receive from you?”

And begins saying:

“I love you enough to require nothing from you.”

Perhaps you never desire another relationship again.

And that does not feel tragic.

Because once your soul has recognised HOME, being alone can feel infinitely more honest than pretending to find it somewhere else. ❤️‍🔥

✨🕊️ THE VIRGIN MARY: THE SACRED MOTHER 🕊️✨

For centuries, the Virgin Mary has been one of the most powerful feminine figures in spiritual and religious tradition.

To Christians, she is Mary, Mother of Jesus. But beyond Christianity, many Spiritualists, mystics, healers and mediums also feel a profound connection to her presence.

Why?

Because Mary has come to symbolise something UNIVERSAL.

Unconditional love. Compassion. Grace. Protection. Healing. Motherhood. Surrender to the Divine.

Within some Spiritualist traditions, Mary may be understood as an evolved soul or sacred spiritual presence who continues to serve humanity from the Spirit World.

Some mediums describe encountering her energy during healing, prayer or meditation as an overwhelming feeling of LOVE and PEACE. Others speak of powerful emotion, profound stillness or a noticeable change in the atmosphere around them.

These experiences belong to the realm of spiritual belief, but for those who experience them, they can feel deeply meaningful.

Mary’s earthly story also carries extraordinary symbolism. She experienced motherhood, uncertainty, devotion, loss and the unimaginable grief of witnessing the suffering of her son.

Perhaps this is why people have turned to her for centuries during grief, illness, fear and emotional pain.

She represents the DIVINE FEMININE in its nurturing form.

Not weakness, but extraordinary strength expressed through love.

For Spiritualists who work with Mary, it is not necessarily about worship. It can be about connecting with the qualities she represents and asking for assistance with healing, protection, compassion and spiritual development.

You might simply close your eyes and say:

“Mary, Mother of Divine Love, surround me with your healing presence. Open my heart and help me become an instrument of love and service.”

Then become still.

Do not force an experience. Simply listen.

Perhaps Mary’s greatest lesson is that the most powerful spiritual force does not need to shout.

🌑✨ WE ARE BETWEEN TWO ECLIPSES ✨🌕

Right now, we find ourselves in a powerful moment in the heavens.

On 12th August, a Total Solar Eclipse swept across parts of the Northern Hemisphere, appearing as a dramatic partial eclipse here in the UK.

On 28th August, we experience a Partial Lunar Eclipse.

And right now, we are standing BETWEEN THE TWO.

Spiritually and astrologically, this space is often described as the ECLIPSE CORRIDOR, a period associated with transformation, revelation, release and energetic realignment.

The Solar Eclipse occurred at the New Moon in LEO, associated with the Sun, heart, courage, identity, creativity and authentic self-expression.

Symbolically, the Sun’s light was temporarily obscured by the Moon.

Perhaps that darkness invited us to recognise where we have been obscuring our OWN light.

Where have you made yourself smaller?

Where have you been living according to expectation rather than authenticity?

But the journey isn’t finished.

We are now moving towards the Lunar Eclipse at the Full Moon in PISCES on 28th August.

Pisces represents intuition, dreams, spirituality, sensitivity, surrender and the unseen. Full Moons represent culmination and release, while Lunar Eclipses are associated with endings, revelations and transformation.

So perhaps the journey is:

☀️ LEO: Rediscover your light.

✨ THE CORRIDOR: Observe what is changing.

🌕 PISCES: Surrender what no longer belongs.

If emotions, memories, relationships or old patterns are resurfacing, don’t rush to silence them.

OBSERVE.

Pay attention to your dreams, intuition and synchronicities. Notice what suddenly leaves your life and what unexpectedly enters it.

Perhaps this period isn’t asking you to DO more.

Perhaps it is asking you to become still enough to recognise what you are finally ready to RELEASE.

The first eclipse brought the Moon’s shadow across Earth.

The second brings Earth’s shadow across the Moon.

And between the two, perhaps we are being invited to explore our own relationship between LIGHT and SHADOW.

What if s*xuality makes more sense when we stop looking only at the BODY and begin looking at the SOUL?

From a spiritual perspective, the soul is not confined to male or female. It is ENERGY. Eternal consciousness moving through different experiences, lifetimes and physical forms.

If we accept the concept of reincarnation, then across the many lifetimes of a soul, we may experience existence within different bodies. In one incarnation, male. In another, female.

And perhaps we carry echoes of those experiences with us.

Within every soul exists an interplay of what spiritual traditions often describe as the DIVINE MASCULINE and DIVINE FEMININE. These energies are not limited by biological s*x. A man can embody extraordinary feminine energy. A woman can embody powerful masculine energy. Most of us contain both, expressed differently throughout our lives depending upon our experiences, relationships, environment and spiritual evolution.

Yet society has spent centuries placing human beings into boxes.

Male. Female.
Masculine. Feminine.
Straight. Gay.

Heteros*xuality is essential for human reproduction, but reproduction and LOVE are not the same thing.

A man and woman can create a child together biologically.

But LOVE?

Love is consciousness recognising consciousness.

Love is one soul seeing another soul beyond the physical vessel it currently inhabits.

Perhaps this is why same-s*x s*xual and courtship behaviour has also been documented throughout the animal kingdom. Nature itself reminds us that s*xuality is more diverse than the rigid categories human societies have sometimes created.

So perhaps the spiritual question is not:

“Why would one man love another man?”
“Why would one woman love another woman?”

Perhaps the question is…

Why would an eternal SOUL be limited in whom it can love simply because of the body it currently occupies?

Your body is part of this lifetime.

Your SOUL is something far greater.

And LOVE, in its purest and most authentic form, transcends the vessel. ❤️
