If Enzo Fernández eventually leaves for Manchester City, Chelsea could take another shot at Morgan Gibbs-White. 💙💪

Chelsea were previously interested in Morgan Gibbs-White, and with Enzo's future still capable of becoming a major storyline, it would be interesting to see whether the Blues return for the Nottingham Forest midfielder.

Gibbs-White would offer something different:

🎯 Creativity
⚡ Ball carrying
🧠 Ability to operate between the lines
💪 Premier League experience
🔥 Energy and attacking intent

And if Chelsea suddenly lose Enzo, bringing in another proven Premier League midfielder could make sense.

The big problem?

Would Nottingham Forest even consider selling? 🤔

Gibbs-White remains a key player for Forest, and any potential deal would likely be expensive. He also signed a new contract previously, so Chelsea couldn't simply expect Forest to let him go cheaply.

For me, though, Gibbs-White shouldn't be Chelsea's first choice to replace Enzo.

If Enzo leaves, I'd still prefer Chelsea to target a midfielder who can control games from deeper areas.

But Gibbs-White would be a very interesting option if Alonso wants more creativity and attacking quality in midfield.
