Who said Piddle Patch was just for pups? π’π±
Aristotle the tortoise has discovered that a Piddle Patch can make a rather lovely spot for a bit of enrichment, too! From exploring the different textures to having a little wander around, itβs a simple way to bring a touch of the outdoors in and give curious pets something new to investigate. πΏ
We love seeing all the creative ways our Piddle Patch community uses their patches β although we have to admit, this might be one of our favourites. π’

So many dog owners opt for p*e pads, without knowing that dogs recognise texture and learn what that texture means when it comes to doing their business. π«£
If you want your dog to eventually go outdoors on grass, using grass indoors can help make that transition feel more natural. π±
With consistent cues and a familiar routine, most dogs adapt really well. In fact, the most confusing option can be a textile puppy pad that feels more like carpet! π―π¦
If youβve already started with puppy pads, donβt worry - itβs not too late to make the switch! Head to the link in our bio for more information on how to transition. πΎ

Wondering how a Piddle Patch fits into your life post-toilet training?
's post perfectly encapsulates how a fresh grass patch fits into everyday life long past the potty-training days...
'Vara's last wee is usually between 10β11 pm, she mostly already started the night stretch on the sofa... between the foxes following us around and Vara switching into hunting mode, a 2-minute toilet break turns into another party and leaves us both awake and wired π¦ πΉ
So our real grass patch stays at 10-months because:
π± It keeps bedtime calm and helps us both get a full night's sleep.
π±Vara genuinely prefers real grass, making the transition between indoors and outdoors seamless.
π± It's more hygienic, and I'd rather she always associates potty time with nature than something that feels like carpet.
She still goes on all her normal walks and asks to go outside during the day by camping by the front door. This is simply what works best for us in the late evenings.
At least until our house is built and she has a big garden of her own πΏπΎπ₯°'
