We have received concerning messages about women on London Fields and in surrounding streets being approached by a man who has made unwanted advances and then appears to have been acting in a sexualised way whilst not actually exposing himself.
This is obviously distressing and worrying and has been reported to the Police, who are escalating it.
If you have experienced harassment, unwanted attention or witnessed inappropriate behaviour please report it to the Police and Park Staff, or the Park Patrols who are on site Thursday > Sunday in the afternoons.
You can also message us and we can inform the Safer Neighbourhood Team and enforcement so they can identify if cases are linked.
Sorry to post with unpleasant and troubling news but we want to ensure park users are safe and informed.
