Vow to improve

It was in the President hotel in Geneve that I spotted a thin white marble where you could place your soap bar.

It was so clean and neat, it didn’t leave the soap residue you see in all other soap dishes 🧼

I started looking for that item in the UK, and the closest was TKMax

If soap dish producers could start developing a smaller version, and resistant to impact, more people would embrace soap bars, and in turn we would be able to reduce the amount of plastic that we produce, consume and that enters the food chain through polluted seas

And the plastic industry could look into doing things that are more useful

If capitalists changed themselves to inventor investors, and if activists changed themselves to negotiators, the conversations would take a different tone

If we want capitalists to change, we have to talk to them in money language

By making capitalists angry, we get this behaviour we see more and more, where they reject anti woke anti anything that isn’t in their interests

The name of the game is “make them feel good”

If we keep pointing fingers, blaming, they get their back up and will not collaborate

Madness is doing the same over and over expecting different results

A little kindness to the person you are trying to communicate with goes a long way

Why do some people put up with living in abusive relationships?

When they asked the people who escaped abusive relationships, they all had one thing in common

I would have never guessed how much I’d love 🥰

I spent decades thinking they were a bit too cheesy

What changed my mind was watching the movie of . Suddenly I understood the of their , they added a story to it

People were praising , a virtual concert in , and I had this in my “to do” list

My favourite band “Garbage” (nothing further from my usual commercial pop) were coming to London, so I jumped at the opportunity of seeing both at once

Strangely enough, as soon as I booked both events, the song stuck in my mind was “Gimme gimme gimme”

It was in a rather isolated area of London,

There were lots of women dressed in sequins ready to have a good time, I felt slightly underdressed for the occasion 😊

It was only then I learned they used to be 2 happy married couples singing, and when they broke up, they could not find the joy to together again

It is they used to bring back the impossible ❤️ and that they finally got together, if only for a few new songs

After my weekend in London my mind kept singing all of their songs, they left such a long lasting impression on me, it is certainly the “discovery” of this year for me 😊 I don’t think there is a song I disliked from their epic show

People came from all places just to have a proper Abba time, a lady saw them 6 times already, they touched so many people’s hearts 😊

This was down to 2 types of people, from the marshmallow test. “I leave a marshmallow here in the table. If you wait & don’t eat it, I'll give you 2”

The ones that didn’t wait, were almost guaranteed to be a financial mess, spending it all now, in case there is no tomorrow

The sensible ones waited for the 2 marshmallow prize

Some people are born with holes in their hands. No matter how much 💰 you place on them, they never have any, for they don’t think about the future

Except for animals. They all had their special bed, outfits, even their own door, with a Christmas stocking with their name printed. Privileges that a new partner would hardly achieve
