Wotherspoon returns to the Welfare ⚽️✍️

We’re delighted to announce that Dale Wotherspoon has signed a contract, completing his return to the club.

Dale commented:

“I’m so excited to be signing for Lochore again, I owe a lot to the manager, especially after the way I left last time, so it means a great deal to be back. I played some of my best football here during my previous spell, and I have so many great memories. I’m really looking forward to getting started again and giving everything I have for the club.”

Manager James Adam said:

“Im delighted to welcome back Dale to the club. After recently bumping into him during a preseason match Dale reached out to us and expressed a desire to return, strangely 2 days after signing for the Swifts. The way in which Dale left in 2024 wasnt great and he knew that but we have kissed and made up over that. Dale was a standout performer in arguably our best ever day when we won the King Cup on 2023 and still has loads to offer. My job as manager is to do the best thing by the club and the players and Dale will make a us better, whether it be in goal or in helping progress Dylan Fleming, who has been excellent in his first season at the club. Dale joins other new signings Marshall, Malvenan and Sutherland and the squad looks really strong. We are looking better by each game and hope to be raring to go for July 25th. Welcome back Dale.”

“We're delighted to announce the signing of Harris Sutherland after his decision to leave Kelty Hearts 20s and join us for the upcoming season. Harris has shown up really well so far during preseason and has been excellent in the preseason game against Hill of Beath, he also scored his first two goals for the club in todays friendly win against the Swifts ammies. Harris has all the attributes, talent and attitude to excel with us and we will work with him to in order to improve and develop all aspects of his game. I am personally very excited to see how far he can go as the early signs have been very good and he has fitted in really well on and off the park.”
