🟠🔹 MAJOR MERLINS MAKE A STRONG STATEMENT

Major Merlins produced an impressive all-round performance to defeat Cardiff Eagles 71–54 in an entertaining pre-season friendly at the Pill Millennium Centre.

After a competitive opening quarter, the Merlins gradually took control through disciplined defence, quick ball movement and consistent scoring. Cardiff Eagles battled hard throughout the contest, but the Merlins maintained their intensity on both ends of the floor to pull away during the second half.

The visitors shared the scoring responsibilities while forcing turnovers and converting fast-break opportunities, allowing them to build a comfortable lead before closing out a deserved 17-point victory.
