We’re so excited to officially welcome Catherine as Co-Founder of What She Said 💛

Sometimes the right people just find each other.

A year ago today, Catherine first reached out to me through an Instagram DM. We met for a coffee and quickly realised we had so much in common, from our values and our approach to business, to our ambitions and the things we wanted to change.

We didn’t stop talking from the minute we sat down, about what we believe in, what we wanted to change in the world and in business and about our kids. We just realised we had loads of similarities and were like, “Oh my god, we could sit here all day chatting.”

From navigating motherhood and business, to our shared passion for supporting women, it became clear we were building towards the same thing.

We both really felt that we wanted to support women no matter what they're stage of growth… solo founders & freelancers who need connections, accountability & practical tools & resources. And scaling founders who are looking for strategic support and expertise from women that have been there, read the book.

Over time, conversations became collaborations, ideas became projects and eventually we reached the point where we thought: “I kind of want to do this with you. I don’t want to do it on my own. And we want the same things. We want the same outcome.”

So here we are, two pieces of a puzzle coming together. Let's GO!

A few themes have been coming up again and again in conversations across the Collective & Accountability Club lately and it’s clear we’re all navigating some similar shifts in the way we work.

✨ Content creation fatigue is real
If creating content feels harder than usual, you're definitely not alone. It's okay to take a break, step back, recharge and come back when your energy returns.

🤝 In person events are having a moment
Everyone seems to be getting back out there and finding huge value in face to face connections. Gentle reminder not to fill every evening in the name of networking, choose the opportunities that genuinely align with what you need right now.

⚙️ Simpler systems, less overwhelm
More business owners are moving towards all in one platforms and streamlining their tech stack rather than juggling endless subscriptions. We've recently done this ourselves and it's been a complete game changer.

Are any of these resonating with you right now? Or is there another trend you're noticing in your business?
