🏓 Pain through the neck and shoulder can build up quickly in rotational sports like padel, especially when the body starts compensating through the upper traps, scapular stabilisers and rotator cuff.
💆🏻 Today’s session focused on reducing tension, improving movement quality and calming irritation through the cervical spine and shoulder complex using a combination of manual therapy, IR light therapy, cupping therapy and acupuncture.
🤩🙌🏽 One of the biggest wins from this session wasn’t just the reduction in pain and restriction, it was helping the client overcome a genuine fear of acupuncture needles. That only happens through trust, communication and making somebody feel safe and understood throughout the treatment process.
😁🏃🏽Within the session we saw immediate improvements in pain, movement and overall shoulder comfort. Thank you for trusting me and the process
❤️🩹 Rehabilitation isn’t just about treating tissue. It’s about understanding the person attached to it.

Sports rehabilitation is more than treating pain.
It’s restoring efficient movement, improving joint mechanics and rebuilding stability under load.
In these before vs after clips, you can already see improved scapular control, better overhead positioning and reduced compensatory elevation through the shoulder complex.
Restrictions through the scapular stabilisers, thoracic spine and surrounding soft tissue can massively affect pressing strength, overhead movement and long-term shoulder function, especially in lifters and athletes.
Treatment focused on manual therapy, soft tissue release, mobility restoration and corrective rehabilitation designed to improve movement quality and shoulder mechanics under load.
The goal isn’t just temporary relief.
The goal is to restore function, improve performance and reduce overload patterns before they become chronic injuries.”
This is a huge part of injury reduction, performance optimisation and long-term shoulder resilience in both athletes and general population clients.
Rehabilitation should never stop at pain relief.
It should improve how the body moves, stabilises and performs.

Posture correction isn’t just about “pulling the shoulders back.”
A lot of shoulder tension, upper back discomfort and restricted overhead movement actually comes from tight scapulars, thoracic restrictions, intercostals, lats and compensatory movement patterns that build up over time.
This video shows the progression from the initial assessment, immediately after the first session, and then after the second session.
Using a combination of:
Manual therapy, soft tissue release, cupping therapy, mobility work and corrective rehabilitation, we were able to improve overhead movement, reduce restrictions and improve scapular positioning.
Notice the difference in:
• Shoulder symmetry
• Arm position overhead
• Scapular movement
• Overall posture and mobility
This is why proper assessment matters.
The painful area is rarely the only area involved.
The aim is long-term movement improvement, not just short-term relief.

Scapula restriction is one of the most overlooked drivers of shoulder pain, tension and reduced performance.
In this session, I combined manual therapy, IR light therapy, and a targeted scapula release to improve movement through the shoulder complex.
During this technique, I’m applying a controlled pull and rotation through the scapula, helping to free up surrounding tissue, improve glide, and restore more natural movement patterns.
When the scapula isn’t moving well, everything above and below it has to compensate, often leading to tension through the traps, discomfort in the anterior shoulder, and reduced strength output.
By restoring scapular mobility, we’re not just chasing relief, we’re improving function, control, and long-term resilience.
This is where hands-on therapy meets clinical reasoning.
Busy doing what matters.

⭐ Client feedback is an essential part of clinical growth.
It helps future clients make informed decisions about their care and allows me to continuously refine treatment approaches to deliver the best possible outcomes.
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback — it’s truly appreciated. 🙏🏼

Acupuncture isn’t just “needles” 😁🙌🏽 it’s a targeted, evidence-informed intervention that influences the nervous system, circulation and whole-body regulation.
By stimulating specific points, we create a cascade of physiological responses. Blood flow increases, muscle tone normalises, inflammation reduces, and the nervous system shifts out of a chronic stress state, which allows the body to move from survival mode into repair.
Clinically, I use acupuncture to treat pain, muscular tension, joint restriction, and nerve irritation. It’s highly effective alongside manual therapy when the body needs deeper neurological input to release and reset.
But the benefits go far beyond musculoskeletal care.
Acupuncture also works on the autonomic nervous system, which is why it can support conditions such as insomnia, chronic stress, and anxiety. By downregulating the sympathetic (“fight or flight”) response, it helps restore natural sleep cycles and improve recovery quality.
In fertility support, acupuncture is often used to optimise blood flow to reproductive organs, regulate hormonal signalling, and reduce systemic stress, all key factors when the body needs the right internal environment to function properly.
For athletes, it becomes a powerful recovery tool. For general clients, it often unlocks progress where other approaches have plateaued.
This isn’t guesswork. It’s precise, individualised treatment that looks at the body as a connected system, not just isolated symptoms.
Real treatment. Real outcomes. Real clients. Real reviews. Real results 😁🙌🏽 for more information or to book in for an acupuncture session please click the link in the bio 😁👍🏽

This is what targeted rehab + hands-on therapy looks like under pressure. 😁🙌🏽🏆
Pro boxer Sam Norris 🥊 fight week.
Not chasing aesthetics. Not guessing.
We’re correcting mechanics that directly impact performance.
Pre-treatment findings:
– Scapular asymmetry affecting force transfer
– Thoracic restriction limiting overhead positioning
– Anterior dominance pulling the shoulder forward
– Reduced upward rotation + poor posterior chain engagement
👉 This isn’t just “posture” this is inefficient load distribution through the kinetic chain
Which means:
Less power. Less control. Higher injury risk.
⸻
What we did:
✔️ Manual therapy + myofascial release
✔️ Cupping to improve tissue glide + blood flow
✔️ IR therapy to reduce localised tension
✔️ Scapular release work (traps, rhomboids, lats)
✔️ Anterior chain unloading (pecs, delts)
⸻
The result?
You can literally see it.
– Improved scapular positioning
– Better spinal alignment
– Increased overhead symmetry
– More efficient force transfer pathways
👉 Translation: cleaner movement = better output in the ring
Fight week isn’t about smashing the body.
It’s about fine-tuning the system so everything fires properly when it matters.
⸻
Too busy doing the work that actually matters
Not chasing trends — chasing outcomes.

Let’s go 👊🔥🥊
Sciatica isn’t just “back pain”… it’s a nervous system issue that needs the right approach.
This client presented with pain radiating through the hip and down the leg — a classic sciatic pattern.
Treatment focused on reducing tension through the posterior chain and improving tissue quality around the nerve pathway.
I used a combination of:
• Targeted manual therapy to release deep muscular restriction
• Cupping therapy to improve circulation and reduce localised tension
• Acupuncture to help modulate pain and calm the nervous system
This isn’t about quick fixes — it’s about restoring movement, reducing irritation, and getting the body working properly again.
Every session is tailored. Every step has a purpose.
If you’re dealing with sciatic pain, don’t just manage it — fix the cause.
