I’m sorry there has been confusion and complication regarding class this week.

I’m aware there has been chatter about a couple of things for a little while now, and so I’ve decided to have a chat with you all in person next week. That way, everyone hears the same thing at the same time from the same person and life is much simpler.

Absolutely nothing to worry about, but it never hurts to be clear on things! Both of my classes always have and always will be my priority 🫡

There is no Improver class this coming week, so please enjoy a rare Tuesday evening off ☺️

Thereafter, classes will run regardless of the heatwave.

It’s no secret I hate hot weather 🥵 so I fully understand why some of you prefer not to attend class when it’s as warm as this.

Rather than cancel classes, I will let you decide whether to attend or not. No judgment if you choose to sit one out but I’m be happy to see as many of you as possible 🫶🏼

An old dance you used to love. One I’ve taught but we’ve not done for ages. So many great dances fall through the cracks and we can never remember them when we need them 🫣

Let’s mix things up and have some fun, finishing the summer off in style ☀️

I keep on saying it - line dancing won’t add years to your life. But it’ll sure add life to the years ✨

I’ll start with the thank yous…

To Carol and Michael, to John and the washer uppers, to everyone who helped pack away - because there is SO much that goes on behind the scenes to make these events happen. And they simply wouldn’t if it weren’t for the people only too happy to give up their afternoons and mornings to get us ready for action 👏🏻

To everyone who bought a ticket, because your support makes nights like these possible 🙏🏻

And a special mention to ALL my dance family, whether you’re regular class members or otherwise, thank you for turning up with no expectation other than to dance and have a great time. And we did EXACTLY that.

The energy in the room last night was electric. To my beginners, it was the perfect example of what I’ve been telling you - line dance, first and foremost, should be fun! It’s not about sitting waiting for the right song all night. If it’s got a beat, think of a dance and dance it!

I’ve had so much wonderful feedback and all 4 sets were SENSATIONAL ✨

I was beyond tired when I got home. My back ached. My feet hurt. My legs felt broken. And I said more than once to Adam,

“I’m too bloody old for this!”

But that’s the sign of the BEST kinda night

🤠Tonight, class is normal times 7.30 - 9pm

🤠Saturday 4th July: PARTY - doors open at the earlier time of 5pm

🤠Tuesday 7th July: Social with live music from George Payling. Doors open 7pm. £6 entry including hot drinks and cake

🤠Tuesday 14th: NO CLASS (no hall availability)

🤠Remainder of the month: normal class timings of 7.30 - 9pm
