Well, this is a pretty special one…

I’ve qualified to represent Great Britain at the World Long Distance Aquabike Championships in Abu Dhabi this November! 🇬🇧🌍🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️

I’m genuinely incredibly proud of this. There’s been a lot of training, early mornings, hard sessions and plenty of sacrifices along the way, so to have the opportunity to race for GBR at a World Championships is a massive achievement.

It’s something I never imagined when I first got into triathlon, and I’m incredibly proud to have got this far.

Whether I’ll actually make it to Abu Dhabi is another question! 😂

There’s still plenty to figure out — logistics, funding, work and, of course, getting the training right between everything else. It’s a big commitment and not a cheap one either!

But for now, I’m going to enjoy the fact that I’ve qualified and see if we can make the rest of the puzzle fit.
