Evington Park Bowls Club

This post says it all! Evington Park is known for being a friendly club. We welcome everyone, from whatever background. We’re not too big so you’ll always get a game. We have 4 coaches and many others with valuable experience to share. We came third in division two of six in our leagues games, so we can be competitive at a good level, but we also have many who just play socially which is just fine.

Why not come along on Monday evenings at 5:30, or on our next Sunday afternoon opening, the 30th August 3-4:30pm. Just wear flat shoes ❤️

🔴England Fall Just Short After Promising Day 2🔴

England's Commonwealth Games team had a good day on the green but couldn't quite close the gap to Wales in the third Preparation Test between the two nations this spring.

With the absence of Katherine Rednall and the Welsh Para representatives, no Women's Singles matches were played and the England Para Team competed against guest bowlers organised by Desborough Bowling Club.

The team can be buoyed by the fact that they took plenty of sets, forcing a lot of tiebreaker situations, and by the performance of the Para Men's, Women's and VI MIxed Pairs who were on top form all weekend.

Today’s open afternoon is cancelled due to expected excessive heat. There will still be an open session this evening at 5:30pm, which anyone can come to. Hopefully shade and cooler temps will be available then.

Come along to our open afternoons this coming Sunday and Monday 2-4pm. Everyone welcome to try this inclusive sport in a beautiful setting. Just wear flat shoes; everything else is provided.
