Pre season ends in defeat.

4 weeks 4 games with some decent results along the way playing 3 teams 2 divisions higher than us. Lots of positives and plenty of minutes in the legs for over 30+ new players.

Next game will be on the 13th September in our first league game in division 4.

Red Lion Sapcote Fc get their first win as a new club against a team two divisions above, great result.

Another game with 2 half’s of a complete different 11.

A dominant second half scoring 4 goals.

Penultimate pre season game for Red Lion Sapcote.

Sunday we host local side Hinckley Wanderers who are two divisions above us. Good test for the lads with the season only 3 weeks away.

A solid result with only are second game as a new club.

First half team 1-0 - (Dominant display)
A rare goal coming from our centre half Tom Gault with a left footed shot curled into the bottom corner through a crowded box giving the keeper no chance, assisted by Ben Adams.

Second half team 1-2 - (9 changes)
Whole new formation and team coming out for the second half, we started off strong with us going 2-0 up early with an another Chad Rees goal (2 in 2) who followed up a save from the keeper and smashed it home.
Rest of the game we found ourselves mainly on the back foot conceding 2 goals one of them being a debatable penalty to see the game finish 2-2.

We go again next week vs Hinckley Wanderers at home. 10:45 Ko

multiple chances missed that on an another day would have been taken making the game a lot different.
