Another fantastic pre-season session for the lads - great numbers, fantastic vibe, and so much positivity.

The doors are still open for new recruits, no matter your experience - all abilities are welcome.

Next session on Thursday 7pm - 8.30pm - come up and join the progress, meet the coaches, meet the players and stay after for a drink, food and chat with them all in our fantastic clubhouse.

We are excited to introduce our newest members to the Melton RFC team - The Shooting Chefs .

The club kitchen officially opens Thursday 16th July from 7pm.

" The Shooting Chefs have been catering events from weddings in barns, lunches in marquees, hog roasts, bbqs, dinner dances and canape parties for the past 6 years.
Operating from home on the Lowesby estate, we incorporate a lot of game into our recipes - a major bonus to sportsmen/women given its lean, high protein properties.
It also has minimal food miles, so a win all around.
We are a lovely team and really hoping we will just slot into the atmosphere at Melton RFC. "

Their most recent venture has been opening a cafe and pizzeria Jill’s place- cafe & pizzeria at Burrough Hill, so we are looking forward to them bringing that experience to the club, too.

The girls' camp will run alongside the boys' camp with the same timings.

Time for the U16 Melkham girls to set their sights on the next step of their rugby ladder alongside their club rugby.

Thursday night Touch Rugby is CANCELLED tonight due to the extreme heat.

Touch Rugby is on tomorrow night with a slight adjustment.

Colts and seniors are now into pre-season training. Therefore, ALL touch will run from 6.30pm - 7.30pm.
2 groups based on next seasons age groups -

Group 1 - U11, U12, U13, U14 (boys and girls)

Group 2 - U15, U16 (this group will also include any adults playing touch for social, fitness etc and U18 girls.)
