So a quick heads up in whats been going on recently, after some much needed time off lots of jobs have been completed but i either need to pop back because carpet was put down and scratched all the woodwork, or were awaiting paint to be delivered so we can complete the final room of the project.
So theyll be quite a lot of jobs uploaded in the next 3 weeks or so as i am able to complete the after photos of each job.

Lastly, we now only have a a couple of slots left for work for the end of October, after that were booked up til mid november- so weve got circa 8 weeks left of the year we can book up for work.

So anyone looking for work to be fitted in this year please message me so i can get you booked in for a quote

Mrantime, thank you all for your continued support...and come on England!

Il be uploading quite a few jobs shortly...not had internet access due to a fault with o2 so got quite a lot to post.

Firstly this conservatory...some parts of the plastering wernt bad...the ceiling was decent, but the walls were horrendous and took days of filling and sanding to get them remotely straight...I still wasn't happy but you can only sand so much and if the plastering is bowed there's not much you can do

Job for a new client and more work being booked in with her for later in the year. This was recently decorated by a professional decorator...no filling, no sanding, woodwork was shocking. So wallpaper stripped and fully filled and sanded, paint removed from spotlights and sockets and handles then all painted and wallpapered

Job for a new client, got a lovely card and box of choccies as a thank you, such a lovely lady and it's nice to make one of her rooms into a home for her. So even though 2 walls were being wallpapered it's very important to treat these walls as you would sny wall to be painted, so sand and fill and caulk, to make sure its flat and even to ensure the wallpaper looks good. Bit of a hiccup in that her cat got out and walked all over the newly glossed windowsill, so that was treated and primed before it could be repainted to make sure there was no dirt or oils on it before it was painted again

2nd job finished for this repeat client. I did this room several years ago but again she'd had a massive water leak which had lead to quite bad cracks in the ceiling and walls which had to be scrim taped before any further work could be done. Then, once painted I found out I'd got the wrong paint so had to do it all again with the right paint. Once that was done I was finally onto all the woodwork

First of 2 rooms completed for a return client. Id previously decorated this room several years ago but shes had a water leak so there was some major damage to the walls and ceiling which needed to be fixed. After that was done it was a complete colour change to the room. I do like doing these 2 tone effects as you have to cut in by hand, you can't use tape as it will damage the paint underneath, so you realy do need a steady hand to get it looking perfect.

Next room will be posted tomorrow as it was painted and then I found out I'd been given the wrong colour paint to paint it with so it's all had to be redone

Job for a new client, although small space it was so hard to do this job because its such a tight space, and the steps down with no banister meant I was constantly in danger of falling. Anyway, walls stripped and then the foil lining treated with zinsser and the walls filled and sanded smooth ready for lining paper to go up. Once the lining paper was applied it was all fillex and sanded to remove any joins then the top and bottom edges caulked to make it seamless. Finally woodwork filled and sanded, primed and then all painted in its respective colours

So getting ready for another new job. This will be fully stipped and sanded then filled and sanded, even though lining paper is going on; and that's because some areas of plaster have blown so they need to be scraped out and primed to ensure wall stability before any further work is done. Also, just because lining paper is going up doesn't mean the walls shouldn't be as close to perfect as possible: the smoother the walls before the more the walls after will just look like walls. The effect is to look like lining paper was never applied, that it is just the walls you are looking at

Little job for today, painting a feature wall. This is a new build and has cracks running down either side of the wall as I couldn't realy fill as I wasn't doing that wall and it would have shown. So after fixing that and the rest of the cracks it was painted with a slightly diluted coat, as I've no idea what paint the previous deccy used and then a further 2 coats applied

Little job for a new client. She didn't want any filling or sanding as the bed etc couldn't be moved. However, i did need to rake out, filled and sanded the cracks in the ceiling as I did advise her i couldn't leave it like that. So once that was done the walls and ceiling were wipes down with builders wipes to get rid of dirt and marks etc, then 3 coat of silk white were applied all over
