We also have 2Touch Football Academy junior teams playing before our game against mate United then we will kick off at 2pm

So today we’re back in action against Men For Mind FC who are making the travel up from South Yorkshire to play us for the second time this time we’re playing at our home ground our home of Pontefract Collieries FC💙

Now last time we met against men for mind they came out 5-1 winners so today our lads are aiming to put that right and get one back over men for mind who are a great set of lads and a good team the lads know from our last the game between the two sides we need to put things right today👊🏻

There has been reports of another spygate saga

But in grassroots football this time round we are shell shocked & disappointed 😠

There’s been reports that two main officials from MATE United FC was at our game yesterday against Belle Isle FC it is reported that the owner and the vice captain of said team that was at our game yesterday with their binoculars in the stands spying & taking notes ahead of our game against mate United on the second of August,😡

We are now looking at various options on how to deal with said individuals we hope grassroots FA will look at this dish a punishment

We went against Belle isle fc today coming in against the unknown shall we say knowing very little about opposition so suppose we could say we didn’t know what to expect we switched things from last time out there was some solid performances by individuals but there was also a really solid team performance we had to dig deep at times especially in the first half were we slacked off for 10-15 minutes and which then the boys realised they was in a game of football when we was 2-0 up then went 3-2 down

The lads round after going 3-2 down we dig deep and for the rest of the game we was flying, Belle Isle had a tiny bit of success but MND for majority of the game was just fortress some solid individual performances by Jak Dawson, Travis duree, Mark Temple, Rui Ferreira, Bobby Best, Lee Gregory, Charlie Hambleton, Danny Black, Ben Harker, Connor Cook,

There was good turn out today at the game we’d just like to say massive thank you for everything that turned up and took part even the supporting, which means a lot so thank you 🙏
