Well at the moment the current forecast suggests it’s going to stay dry throughout the afternoon tomorrow. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

We will have a bouncy castle and inflatable obstacle course for children to enjoy. DJ Steve is gonna be here playing tunes from all the decades.

Food wise, there will be hot dogs and pork pies available from the kitchen as well as a sweet shop for those wanting the sugary treats !

This will all take place between 3.00pm and 6.00pm.

Before that at 2.00pm, Leeds United take on Brentford in the Premier League. We will be showing that live inside the clubhouse on our screens to get the day started off.

The club will be open from 12.00pm until 10.00pm.

As always, this is a club event for members and their families.

Please remember to bring some cash with you for the kids activities and kitchen.

Should the weather take a turn and it rains, we may have to close the bouncy castle and obstacle course off for safety reasons but DJ Steve will keep you all entertained !

An afternoon watching the races is in full swing, with the drinks flowing and food spread laid out. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves and based on the weather at York, it’s probably better sat inside here watching instead !

For any new members who have recently joined, or those that were not aware, we have a quiz night every Tuesday evening. This usually gets underway around 8.30pm, with cash prizes to be won. Come down and test your knowledge !

We currently open at 6.00pm on Tuesdays.

We have Super League action on here tonight as Leeds Rhinos take on Leigh Leopards. Kick off is at 8.00pm. We are open 7.00pm - 11.00pm on Thursdays.

Join us on Thursday 20th August as we host our own “ladies day at the races” here at Whitkirk Club.

Don your best dresses, suits, hats as we show York races on our screens with an afternoon of food, drink, chat and horse racing.

Tickets are £20 and that includes a fully catered buffet, and a chance to partake in some fun betting / prize winning.

The day will commence at 12pm and run through until 5pm.

Members are more than welcome to bring guests along with them on the day (max 4).

Tickets are available to purchase from the clubhouse during normal opening hours.
