Today we celebrate Lou! 🍯🦡

We all love Lou, and it’s easy to see why! She never fails to make us laugh, both on and off the pitch, and her determination to keep learning and improving is unmatched. 💪

Lou truly embodies what inclusion is all about. She makes sure everyone gets their turn, feels involved and has a place in the team. Her positivity and energy are such a big part of what makes our team so special.

And she certainly doesn’t let a lack of playing experience stop her from making absolutely anyone her target! 😂

No one is safe when Lou’s around — and we’re convinced that one day she WILL get that ball off our powerhouse Nwando! 👀😂

Keep being you, Lou — we wouldn’t have you any other way! 🍯🦡❤️

🏉 Help get our Maris to Wales!

We’re incredibly proud that four members of the club have been selected as Maris for the 2026 tour to Wales.

Being selected is a big achievement and gives them the opportunity to take part in a very special weekend, receive their Mari numbers and become part of a tradition that creates memories and friendships that last long after the tour is over.

Now comes the fundraising!
The four are working hard to raise the money needed to make the trip to Wales possible, and any support would be hugely appreciated.
Whether it’s a donation, sharing their fundraiser, or helping spread the word, every bit of support gets them one step closer.

❤️ Four Maris. One trip to Wales. Let’s help get them there! 🏉

Honey badgers out in the wild 🍯🦡

Some of the Honey Badgers women took part in the Ledbury Carnival on the women’s rugby float for ledbury and what a day it was!

Lots of laughs, plenty of fun and, luckily, no rain!

And to top it all off… we only went and won Best Float Overall AND Best Large Float! 🏆🏆

A fantastic day celebrating women’s rugby, club spirit and what can happen when everyone gets stuck in together. 💚🖤🤍

THREE HONEY BADGERS ARE BECOMING PART OF MARI’s!!!

We are ridiculously proud to announce that Maya, Megan and Hazel have all been selected to represent the Mixed ability rugby invitationals (MARIS) 🤍🖤

Once a MARI you are a MARI for life. Mixed Ability Rugby Invitational Club

Every player receives their own unique Maries number, which stays with them forever. There’s a Honey Badger already proudly carrying #311… and now we get to find out which numbers these three will add to the family.

we couldn't think of three more deserving Honey Badgers. Maya had never even touched a rugby ball when she first joined us, and watching her courage, determination and willingness to give absolutely everything a go has been incredible. Megan, one of our original Honey Badgers, represents so much of what our club is about — fierce on the pitch, incredibly kind off it, and always quietly looking out for everyone around her. And Hazel brings so much rugby knowledge and experience to the team, but what makes this particularly special is watching her grow in confidence, find her people and realise just how much she has to offer both on and off the pitch. 🏉

The MARIS weekend is about so much more than rugby. It’s an opportunity to showcase mixed ability rugby at its very best — different people, experiences and abilities sharing the same pitch, being equally valued and becoming part of something bigger than themselves.

It’s rugby, friendship, belonging, a LOT of laughter and memories that will last far beyond one weekend.

They’ll arrive as Maya, Meg and Hazel from the Honey Badgers.
They’ll come home as Maris, with numbers that will be theirs for life. 🥹

We couldn't be prouder of you three. Go and soak up every single second of it.

Our Honey Badgers. Our newest Maris. 🍯🦡

TONIGHT WE CELEBRATE ASHLEIGH!!! 🏉💛

What a weekend for Ash, showcasing exactly what mixed ability rugby is all about — being inclusive, fearless and making sure everyone gets their chance to shine.

She properly committed to every tackle, happily subbed off so others could get involved, and most importantly, built bridges through rugby. 🙌

And in Ash’s own words… she’s “fallen back in love with rugby.” 🥹🏉

Ash, you’ve more than outdone yourself. We couldn’t be prouder of you! 💛

Saturday was a good one! 💚🏉👂

Some of our Honey Badgers went full contact this weekend, teaming up with other teams from around to make up the Ledbury Ladies for the Silent Games — and what a brilliant time we had!

Loads of rugby, plenty of laughs, big smiles and great memories made along the way. And to top it all off… we came home with the Silver Plate!!

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making the weekend such good fun. Safe to say we had an absolute blast!

“I’m really excited to be taking on a new role as Team Manager this season, while continuing my work around inclusion — something that means a lot to me.
I’m grateful for all the opportunities, experiences and amazing people rugby has brought into my life so far.
Looking forward to the season ahead and seeing what we can achieve together!” - Stevie

🏉 That's a wrap on our summer training... and what a way to finish! 💗💖

Tonight was everything the Honey Badgers are about – fast-paced, hard work, plenty of laughs, and a team that always has each other's backs. Summer training may be over, but next week we turn the intensity up as we start preparing for the new season. Bring the power. 💪

And yes, we know we don't normally train in pink! We did it to lift the spirits of one of our teammates who needed a reminder that they're not facing things alone. Because that's what the Honey Badgers are. More than a rugby team, we're a family, and when one of us needs support, we all show up.

Here's to a brilliant summer, an even better season ahead, and continuing to build something special together.

Before we finished the session, we had the pleasure of handing out some well-deserved awards.

🦡 Monthly Honey Badger Awards:
👏 September – for embodying the Honey Badger spirit through her humour, lifting everyone's spirits, and making sure no one is left out.
👏 Evie – for never giving up, battling through the tough sessions, showing huge improvement, and helping grow the club by bringing friends along.
👏 Tom – for always being the first to offer a helping hand, supporting anyone who needs it, and constantly helping the Honey Badgers grow.

🏆 Overall Summer Honey Badger Award
This had to go to Paul.

No matter who you spoke to, Paul's name kept coming up. Whether it's turning up to support the team even when he can't play, baking for everyone, suggesting socials, quietly helping wherever he can, or giving everything on the pitch (when he manages to stay on his feet! 😄), Paul perfectly represents what this club is all about. Congratulations—you thoroughly deserve it.

A huge thank you also goes to Ryan and Sarah. Week in, week out, whatever the weather and whatever the numbers, they turn up ready to coach, support and develop this team. The Honey Badgers wouldn't be where we are without the time and effort they put in behind the scenes.

Starting Tuesday 4 August, we back to twice a week training!!! That’s one hour of training, twice a week 🔥💪🏼
