The postcode HR2 8LL brings you directly to us. Follow the signs to the parking area; there are two: one at the top of the hill and one adjacent to the arena. Please use either but check before driving down to the bottom car park to ensure it is not already full. Please park sensibly to allow others to park easily around you and do not hang haynets outside lorries/trailers.

Arrive with enough time to warm up. Bare in mind that your start time is when you ride down the centre line so please be ready a couple of minutes before your time and waiting at the far side of the warm up arena.

A photographer will be in attendance and pictures will be available to buy directly from him after the event. His page is linked here for you: Andrew Lamnea Photography and we will share a link to the pictures on our page.

We also have a super caterer attending, offering an opportunity to have breakfast or a drink and snack! Please bring cash.

As this is the last show of the summer league, the season winners from each class will be awarded their Champion rosettes, sashes, and perpetual trophy!

Louise Harwood Clinic at Aberhall Equestrian HR2 8LL

Sunday 27th September

A super opportunity to attend an multi-clinic session with 5* event rider, British Eventing accredited and BHSII coach Louise Harwood. Draw from Louise’s many years of experience riding at the highest level.

A group of three hour for Flatwork, Polework or Showjumping sessions with heights of 60cms, 70cms, 80cms, 90cms, 1m.

entry fee per rider: £35.00

The sessions will run between 9am and 4pm. You will be advised of your clinic time via email the week before the event.

Pole work clinic with Judith Murphy FBHS Thursday 17th September 2026.

Join Judith, a fellow of the British Horse Society for a great session using poles to develop the horses way of going and more accurate test riding.

Sessions are held for 1 hour in a group of 3 and will run between midday and 6pm. You will be advised of your clinic time via email once the entry date has passed.

Entry to this event is £30 per rider.

Aberhall Equestrian Autumn Working Hunter Show with clear round classes.

Saturday 3rd October 2026 at Aberhall Equestrian, St Owen’s Cross HR2 8LL.

A fantastic day of Working Hunter competition with clear round classes available beforehand to help riders gain confidence before entering the main competition.

Classes range from cross poles through to 90cm, welcoming both junior and senior combinations in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

Championships will be held for both the Mini Working Hunter and the Working Hunter sections, with championship sashes and rosettes awarded to the champion and reserve champion

Please Note
We have split class 2 into sections 2a and 2b.

Class 2a – is a confidence boosting class for nervous or less experienced riders who are perhaps new or fairly new to dressage.

Class 2b – Rider/horse combinations must not have competed in any BD Novice class previously at any venue.

Class 3 – Rider/horse combinations must not have competed in any BD novice class previously at any venue.

These rules apply to both senior and junior riders.
